- tall for a qunari
- STRONGFAT. he’s strong as shit, he has plenty of muscle, but he’s build for strength and he likes to indulge, he’s got a gut.
- what a butt. a fantastic big butt. and thunder thighs.
- his hair is dark, which is uncommon for qunari, and coily, 4c to 4a ish.
- used to have long hair back in the day, cut it short on seheron, and had it shaved in re-education, and ended up keeping it that way
- qunari aren’t very hairy, and bull isn’t either. he’s got facial hair, pubes, a treasure trail, leg + arm hair, but his chest is naturally smooth
- when he shaves his face he looks SO YOUNG, even with the scars
- keeps his nails short because claws scare people and also breaking nails are a pain to deal with
- it’s both his knee and ankle that are fucked up, and his brace has more support under his trouser leg we don’t see. it’s not the worst injury in the world but he stresses it regularly so he has to look after it
- when he’s got the supplies, applying his horn-balm is a must.
- sex vitaar! my headcanon to explain to vitaar on his nude appearance is that it’s just painted vitaar pattern, a non-toxic version that is ceremonial that he puts on to show respect for his bedpartner (something he hasn’t done as routine until he gets with inquiz or dorian)
- his feet are really well looked after. he’s a soldier, he knows that if your feet go to shit you’re fucked
- despite dorian’s commentary, he bathes. he’d have a great routine except being a soldier never really lent itself to that.
- he’s got great teeth (though tbh everyone has okay teeth as far as im concerned, i have Problem teeth so it gives me anxiety when med-fantasy chars have bad teeth so EVERYONE HAS NOT BAD TEETH. also school tells you lies about dental hygeine through the ages, its not always terrible)
- an ear piercing from his early fake-tal-vashoth days, he doesn’t wear an earring much though because he snagged it once in battle and NOPE
