i would not have phrased it that if i were operating in normal condition, i think more aligned with my actual feelings would be like "radical feminism aligns much more with my personal thoughts than liberal feminism." really neither of those terms really mean much but i'm generally sex-negative which is a strain of thought that seems more-or-less extinct in people who don't call themselves radfems. to expand i guess i think porn (incl. ethically-produced porn) generally perpetuates misogyny (sorry to my pornhead followers), "expressions of female sexuality" are not necessarily a good thing for women as a whole, gender has no uhh "real component" i guess & is an evil demon that must be vanquished. other stuff too that doesn't come to mind immediately. i'm pessimistic about any of this actually being ameliorated in the future which kind of puts me at odds with most radfems but whatever. i find a lot of self-proclaimed feminists' conception of feminism basically boils down to "women can do whatever they want, overt expressions of misogyny are bad" which is just like... it's so nothing, this doesn't even register as feminist to me. & that's like, the default Feminism for most people! i just don't align with that at all. maybe i am not a radical feminist but i don't think i am the fun kind
