This is pretty funny since he was actually a philosopher. Why is that so funny? Because he said stuff like this:
“ We should consider every day lost in which we have not danced at least once.”
“ Maturity consists in having rediscovered the seriousness one had as a child at play “
“ And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music. “
Which would mean that he would love to dance. So this cover actually makes sense! But I love some of his other quotes too.
“ God is dead. “
“ Out of life's school of war: What does not destroy me, makes me stronger. “
This is comedy gold people.
Rose dodging real talk faster than sonic.
Jeez, Greg is pretty much my clone.
Garnet’s the best mom.
This still applies for tonight’s episode.
Love Like You Explanation
If I could begin to be, Half of what you think of me, I could do about anything, I could even learn how to love. When I see the way you act, Wondering when I'm coming back, I could do about anything, I could even learn how to love like you.
I think I finally understand what the lyrics mean. It’s rose thinking of humans and how she wants to become them. When she meets Greg she notices how he thinks that she is great and that she is initially a human. But in tonight’s episode, it is revealed that he no longer thinks that she is a real person and an actual alien, and that she does not know the meaning of love. As he tries to fuse with her, both of them realize that were meant for each other. By the end of the song I think it’s rose’s way of saying that she’s going to become half of Steven and doesn’t know when she’s coming back. But since she’s half and half, she may even learn how to love for real.
That’s just my interpretation at least.
