Anyways, they must’ve had tons of fun on this Vanity Fair shoot... and it seems everyone has an instrument except Glen so he’s prob the conductor haha...

Barbaro: We never flew solo because legally you can’t unless you have a pilot’s license, but we got to a point where we were talking with the tower.
Powell: I’d been cast first, so I’d had a couple more opportunities to be in the Cessna. But I’d never done a takeoff and landing.
Ramirez: We showed up at Van Nuys Airport. I see Glen’s car parked with a big Texas license plate, and I’m like, “Oh, I’ve seen this guy from Scream Queens, he was pretty funny.”
Powell: I remember grabbing a Subway sandwich, getting to know each other in the parking lot. And then it’s like, “All right you guys, ready to fly?!”
Ramirez: It’s my first time, so I’m also a little nervous. As we’re on the runway and taking off, I’m looking at Kevin LaRosa Sr.’s hands, but they’re really relaxed, and they slowly start slipping off. I look over and we’re taking off because Glen is the one pulling back on the controls. I just panicked: Glen Powell from Scream Queens is the first person in this whole movie that’s taking me up in the air? What the hell?
Powell: We got up in the air and I could see he was kind of breathing a little heavier than normal. I looked back and said, “Everything good?”
Ramirez: We ended up flying for about an hour. He lands the plane, and I was like, “I would have never sat in that Cessna had I known that Glen was going to be the one that took me up.”

Glen Powell: And I recorded this line, that said "For all you folks listening at home, this is how you bury a fossil." I wrote that and immediately after I said it, I was like "Oh my God, Tom's gonna see this." I was like really nervous, like I told you. Cos I went to Eddie's thing and I was like "Has Tom seen this yet?" bcos you can totally cut some out right? I was just ripping on that one v one with Mav. I really kind of laid it on Mav. I really went at it. Joe: You had a notebook of like 30 ideas...and i was like “Do them all.”
LOL the tgm cast and even the directors love teasing Glen cos everyone was chiming in to answer eventho the question was directed at him. xD plus they all love roasting each other too <33 hope we’ll get more of this cast together at the award shows!
Love to see the Top Gun Maverick cast/family reunited again!! And then they teased Glen Powell right from the start cos his family has watched the movie twenty times by now xD full interview by moviereport.com

its funny how they always love to tease Glen Powell for playing naval aviators in Top Gun Maverick and Devotion back to back but love how he just simply takes it in his stride and just roll along with the punches. ;) plus reenacting Jake Hangman’s Seresin’s iconic line. “I am good, I’m very good.”
“He was in battle with this gentlemen... come here... who play Tom Hudner...” “Oh hey whatsup.” the way Jonathan Majors just casually grabbed Glen Powell by the back of his jacket and pulled him over to join his interview just screams tight besties hahaha... love how close they’ve become through this movie. <3 and honestly Glen just willingly let himself be dragged around like a puppy with no protests whatsoever shows that he’s probably used to it xD
