Quirk; Pandora's box

[idea that I might use for a future oc]

Aka a very literal usage of the Greek myth. It is a close contact quirk, requiring the user to directly touch who they wish to inflict with one of the conditions released from the box. Usually that of illness or old age. In that their lymph nodes quickly fill with fluid to the point they burst. From this, ulcers appear all over the body with infection oozing outwardly. Those inflicted tend to die from severe hemorrhaging, if not the infection. With the latter, the aging process is sped up. If they overuse their quirk, the user will cough up blood for the same amount of time the quirk was used.

They didn't have the best control over their quirk growing up until their parents took them to a specialist that made them a pair of gloves specifically nullifying their quirk. Most assume they're quirkless b/c of this. Unable to find work besides menial labor that doesn't even pay enough to cover the bills, they turn to either vigilantism or the league.
