fic recs because apparently people know my work (gross) and I’m going feral over Ronance over here. I’ll keep updating this, but here’s some that I’m currently obsessing over:
first one is a Half Of It AU (I don’t know what that is) but it’s so well written that I can’t even care. the second is a Seven Wives of Evelyn Hugo AU and LORD. it’s an AU of a book I adore as a fic I adore.
VAMPIRE AU MY BELOVED. THE TENSION IS DELICIOUS, the author writes the characters so well. parts of it have left me breathless, I’ve wanted to write a gift piece for this for a WHILE but I could never do it justice

I read the description and politely thought to myself “The Conjuring AU? respectfully, what the fuck?” and was SO delighted with it. the author paints background and scenes so fucking well and it’s SO good, I delight in the paranormal so this was *chefs kiss*. I was on the edge of my fuckin SEAT.

this fic is just so unapologetically queer and I absolutely adore it for that. the comphet is well written, the slowburn is fantastic, and I usually hate OC’s in fanfic but this is THE EXCEPTION
this was so fucking sweet, it made my teeth rot. the seven types of love tied in with the story and the way the Handle With Care is used as symbolism makes me want to go back to school for creative writing so I can get my doctorate and TEACH THIS to undergrads
vampires and werewolves! pirates! superheroes! time travel! they’re bingeable and cycle through every emotion under the sun. A+ variety content
SPEAKING OF BINGEABLE. this is so DELIGHTFULLY angsty and there were genuine moments in this that knocked me fucking breathless. the author has such a gut-wrenching way of sinking a knife right into your heart and twisting the blade and it’s so worth the ride. also the kink is A+ of course
oh me oh my. I LOVE me a good AU where someone else gets Vecna’d, and this is done so well. this just started relatively soon and it’s ongoing and I CAN’T WAIT TO SEE WHERE IT GOES
