D'Onofrio will not be playing Kingpin in the MCU because Daredevil is a Netflix show, and anyone that has watched the Netflix Marvel shows will tell you that they do not need a movie to tie into them.
Marvel spent millions upon millions of Dollars putting Daredevil in theaters, and it did not make enough money or generate enough fan buzz to warrant a sequel. That is why Daredevil is on Netflix. The Daredevil movie was good. Underrated, and actually pretty good. I do, however, suggest the Director's Cut.
...and yet the show on Netflix is a lot better. this is not a controversy. this is Vincent D'Onofrio proving, once again, that he is perfect in his role as Wilson Fisk.
