This was published as the frontispiece pinup from Marvel Preview, Vol. 1 # 16. It’s called “Men at Work”.

This is one of my favorite pieces by Big John. I have Inked/Finished it several times.

Goofball Star-Lord is selling like hotcakes.

Badass, lone-gunman, Shane in Space Star-Lord had his heyday finale with the Annihilation Books, and the multiple subsequent D&A written series that followed and surrounded those event books. I agree that badass Star-Lord was fun, but the Chris Pratt version is a lot more accessible and fun to new readers.
