Uncanny X-Men, Vol. 1 # 205, “Wounded Wolf”, scripted by Chris Claremont and illustrated by Barry Windsor-Smith.
this is the issue where Wolverine fights Lady Deathstrike in the snow, while protecting Katy Power from Deathstrike and the Reavers. this issue also tells the origin of Lady Deathstrike, and it has some of the best fights you will ever see illustrated. Brutal, gory, and beautiful artwork throughout.
the ReColored version is from the Hardcover reprints of LIFEDEATH and LIFEDEATH II, and the new colors are by Thomas Mason. the last image is a finished cover concept that Barry and Chris ultimately decided not to use.
As usual with Barry, he is not a fan of people changing his artwork. you can mail him stuff to sign for $20.00 plus postage but I do not suggest sending him the hardcover where Thomas Mason’s colors appear. He will probably sign it, but it will piss him off, so please do not.
