This is yet another example of why I revere BWS. It is more of a sequential meditation than anything. It is figure work, conflict, and a work based more on feeling than on direct narrative. This is a piece of artwork in the form of a 5 page comic book. Interpretation is left up to the viewer. Barry has never explained it, and it does not need an explanation. Barry is a fine artist who used comic books as his chosen medium off and on for about 25-30 years.
