Eliot R. Brown: Titan
Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe: Deluxe Edition #13 (1986)
Brown’s diagram of Titan has always baffled me. It always seemed unfinished and at least was lacking the lines that connected the descriptors to any kind of recognizable element. Jim Starlin’s drawing from Titan Captain Marvel #27 and #32 (below) may be a bit sillier in the comic way the buildings wrap around such a small orb, but at least it’s easier to tell what’s going on.
Also, shouldn’t those Before Thanos / After Thanos population numbers be reversed?
I thought either Mentor brought everybody back, or they undid all of his killing with the infinity gauntlet. I guess Thanos Rising was a reboot. It was good, I know that. and, it was pretty. Either way, Secret Wars will pretty well fix all of the broken toys and put them back to play with tomorrow if need be.
