some of my own sketchbook entries from the last two months. with the exception of the Apocalypse portrait, all of these were done with a Pilot Precise V5 Rolling Ball Extra fine gel ink pen.

1. a study/prelim sketch for a Weapon X pinup by Barry Windsor-Smith.
2. Cary Nord's original artwork for the Pull-Box variant for X-O Manowar.
3. Chris Bachalo's cover for the X-Men, Vol. 2 #189.
4. David Mack posted his Kabuki sketch on his facebook back in July.
5. Frank Miller did a quick convention sketch of Wolverine back in 1983.
6. Jim Steranko's Black Panther pencil sketch was published in a 1969-fanzine called ‘Infinity One’.
7. John Romita, Jr.'s cover for Fallen Son #3.
8. I met Micah J. Gunnell at Wizard World Philly in 2007. He gave me a quick Phoenix sketch in between signings at the Aspen Booth.
9. Walt Simonson did the Yoda sketch way back in 1980. A couple months after the premiere of ‘the Empire Strikes Back’!
10. Apocalypse was all me. I drew it with a couple of different pens, and I am not exactly sure which ones.
