with all the legacies of the jsa characters(hourman 1-3, flash 1-4, dr. midnite 1-2, green lantern 1-5, blue beetle1-3), are there any members who you'd like to revitalize and start up with a brand new character under the mask?
Since you started with the JSA my mind immediately goes to Wildcat, even though that has been done before. Because Wildcat’s a favorite of mine and it’s been established that he’s a good mentor-type.
Searching around, I’m struggling to think of a JSA member where this hasn’t been done already. Granted I’m not any kind of JSA expert but it seems like that’s part of the built-in recipe with them? Every time I think of one I find out they have a grandchild or something. So I’m just going to stick by Wildcat.
Yep. Wildcat was always my favorite part of the JSA comics. And a shout-out to the late Dennis Farina, who voiced him in the JLU show. And don’t bring him back as a legacy. Bring back “Ted-friggin’-Wildcat-Grant”. Love that guy.
Dale Eaglesham rocks, btw.
I mean, Doc Shaner is the man.
I’m just sayin’ that Dale Eaglesham is awesome too.
Any JSA comics you recommend? Was surprised to not see a sale when I opened CMX.
ComiXologist podcast host Kzam (who is a big fan of Stargirl) recommends JSA ALL-STARS.
Following a devastating rift between team members, the Justice Society of America split in two! Meet the JSA All-Stars! Although they may be a younger, more inexperienced team, veteran leaguers like Power Girl and Stargirl look to turn these newcomers into full-fledged All-Stars!
