While we continue to donate to personal evacuation funds, I think it is crucial to keep in mind that these individuals as well as millions more in Gaza are currently actively in need of basic necessities like food, water, shelter, and medical care. Keeping this in mind, and recognising that there is no way to know when the border crossing with Egypt will reopen, I think our attention should also be on raising funds for organisations currently on the ground who will have the widest impact on the lives of Palestinians who are still enduring the genocide in Gaza.
Below are some verified donation links of organisations that are currently providing assistance for the people in Gaza directly:
Taawon has launched a campaign to provide support in Gaza through food parcels, shopping vouchers, fresh produce, water bottles and shelter tents.
Watermelon Relief is a project initiated and implemented by a group of activists in Gaza, who work to provide aid to displaced families in Gaza through meals, support and activities.
World Food Programme (WFP) managed to provide assistance to more than 1 million people in Gaza in May by delivering food in shelters, makeshift camps and shops.
Life for Gaza is an initiative through which the Municipality of Gaza aims to provide basic necessities for the people of Gaza such as water projects, waste collection and the reconstruction of roads.
Arab Group for the Protection of Nature (APN) is working to plant farmlands in Gaza through their "Revive Gaza Farmlands" project, through which they had already started planting vegetables, fruits and leafy greens in Gaza.
Purchasing eSIMs is one of the only remaining ways to keep Gazans connected with the outside world, to get their stories out or even enable them to call for help after Israeli strikes.
The Sameer Project is a donation based aid initiative that provides tents, cash aid, diapers and formula for displaced families in Gaza.
Care For Gaza is an organisation that works to provide essential aid such as food packages and cash to deliver to displaced families in Gaza.
Palestine Children's Relief Fund, through their "Gaza Relief and Recovery" campaign, plan to provide essential medical supplies and treatments, as well as food and clean water.
The UNRWA has an Emergency Appeal for Gaza, where donations will provide families in Gaza with lifesaving food and water, winter kits and to repair UNRWA shelters.
Mutual Aid for the People of Gaza is a fundraiser managed by Mona in Gaza, who personally purchases and distributes basic supplies including food parcels to families in Gaza.
Help Gaza Children is another grassroots effort operating on the ground in Gaza to support families with food, water and clothing.
Palestinian Red Crescent has been on the ground in Palestine since 1968 as part of the Red Cross & Crescent movement. They have had a continuous presence on the ground in Gaza as the main source of medical care and assistance.
Medical Aid for Palestine (MAP) provides medical supplies and supports healthcare services in Gaza.
Doctors Without Borders (MSF) provide medical and humanitarian aid in Palestine and have had their teams on the ground operating from MSF-supported health facilities across Gaza.
Gaza Wound Care is a medical team in a tent in Nuseirat, providing care to children and supporting pregnant women.
Children Not Numbers is an NGO dedicated to providing medical care for the children in Gaza including delivery of medical aid and medical evacuation for children.
While you are here, please take some time to support my friend Iyad @eyadnasir-6. He and his family lost their home to bombing. They fled to a hospital, only for it to be bombed as well. Iyad and his family, which includes several young nieces and nephews, have been living in fear ever since.
There has been often been bombing close around the tent where they live. The bombing not only causes great terror and stress, but the smoke and phosphorus from it has given Iyad serious respiratory issues, which worsen each day without treatment.
Iyad needs your help to be able to purchase basic needs like food and water for his family, and medical treatment for respiratory issues. The prices in Gaza are extremely high, and without your support, he and his family will suffer and starve. Please, share and donate to his campaign. Any amount, no matter how small, can make a difference to Iyad and his family. Please don't let them down.
(If you want to see any of the stuff listed in the poll, donate and either dm me or reblog with proof, and I will post a picture of whatever you want to see, and maybe a little story to go with it too.)
Tagging for reach (please dm for removal):
if you're feeling powerless right now—and god knows I am—here's a reminder you can donate to the National Network of Abortion Funds, the Trans Law Center, Gaza Soup Kitchen, the Palestine Children's Relief Fund, and hundreds of other charities that will work to mitigate the damage that has been and will continue to be inflicted
life continues. we still have the capacity to do good, important work. that matters
Whatever the outcome of the US election, you must live. You don't have to accomplish anything but staying alive, it's okay to just survive, but your survival is so important. You being here despite the odds and their hate and the hardships to come for many is how we dont let them win.
So stay safe, take care of yourself and the people you live, and survive. I love you. Keep fighting.
tumblr just deleted a huge swathe of palestinians who were on here trying to fundraise. if you've been helping any of these fundraisers please take this time to 1) check in with palestinians you're in contact with 2) help them submit support requests if needed 3) keep these campaigns circulating while the beneficiaries are being silenced. these campaigns are life or death, this isn't just social networking. do not let these fundraisers languish.
Palestinians who've reached out to me today after having their blogs deleted (sorry if I don't have your most recent former account):
Without collaborative effort fundraising is impossible. This does not boil down to one person (or a handful of people) we all must partake
Some Palestinian/Sudanese fundraisers to keep an eye on bc they’re struggling with traction:
Back in March, onions already cost 50x the usual price they go for in Gaza. A kilo of peppers cost almost £70 in August. Other food items are also exorbitantly expensive.
I have previously written about Ibrahim @aburakhiaibrahim's family of 28. Donations to their GFM are still very slow, and so far they have only raised $6,393 CAD of their $30,000 goal, with only 3 donations in the last 24 hours.
This campaign was vetted by gaza-evacuation-funds last September. To provide more assurance to this, Ibrahim sent me this photo showing my main blog on his phone.
Please donate to this campaign, or boost and share this to your followers and even on other social media sites. Tag others so this can spread further and reach those who can donate if you can't.

Thank you kind stranger for booping me! While you're here, will you please consider helping my friend Mohammed (@ahmed-0-khalil) and his 5 siblings in Gaza? Things are so bad they are now in debt because they have to borrow money to buy food! Food prices in Gaza are increasing in such alarming rate that a small sardines, usually a very cheap fish, is 5900% more expensive than usual! It's so bad that they are now eating spoiled flour filled with weevils because it's all the food they have! And that is in addition to the frequent bombings they have to face!
Mohammed is only 19 years old and yet he has to bear the responsibility to find money so that his family may eat. His has a brother who is blind, another who is autistic, and his youngest brother is only 6 years old! He is scared that they will be starved to death, and told me that "if we are not killed by Israeli occupation fire we will be killed by hunger"! He is only 19 years old, he should be worrying about his studies, having fun (like spam booping strangers on Tumblr), instead of worrying if his family will survive!
This campaign is shared by 90-ghost, #77 on the @/gazavetters vetted list!
€10,156 raised of €50K target
If you need even more incentive to donate, I'm hosting a freshwater pearl phone strap raffle for people in the UK. Click here to enter after you donated.
It seems Tumblr is continuing with their mass deactivation of Palestinian blogs. This time they've gone after @nourfamily1989, a mother with five young children in Gaza. Please continue sharing and supporting her fundraiser while she tries to get her account back.
i'm in regular contact with nour and i want to highlight the following: 1) her youngest daughter ghazal, who is only two years old, has developed a speech impediment from the trauma of this situation, and her 13 year-old son muhammad has developed an autoimmune issue from lack of sanitation, constant insect bites and exposure to unclean water, recurring illness, etc. 2) my friends recently sent money to help nour buy winter clothes for her children, the prices of which will knock out a lot of what she received due to high demand and low supply. the costs of food, medical treatment, etc. are still very high. 3) many of nour's extended family members benefit from these funds as well. these are people who were already poor before the war, and now they can't work. all they can do is find internet hotspots and ask for help. that's where we come in. if reading this distresses you, and if you're mad about tumblr deleting palestinians' accounts, the good news is that you're not helpless: even tiny donations make a difference.
I’ve shared Nader’s @abdalsalam1990 family’s fundraiser on here many times, but they are still only 25% to their goal
Nader is only a 17 year old child, but spends every day reaching out to people and trying to get help for his brothers Abdulsalams fundraiser for their family. His father suffers from cancer and needs treatment he can’t get in Gaza to survive, and his little niece is only 1 year old and suffers from malnutrition. It’s very urgent to get them help. You can read more about their story in my post here
Nader works very hard every single day to get his family to safety because he loves his family, and any family would be lucky to have a son and brother like him. But no child should have to do this just to survive. He should be going to school and hanging out with his friends. You can help take that weight off his shoulders. Please help bring the Al Anqar family to safety.

It's with a heavy but hopeful heart that I watch Palestinian families fundraiser on here, slowly accumulating the precious little money to go around that they need to survive. However, not everyone is so lucky. A lot of Palestinians that have not had that kind of luck, that did not get early verification, that did not get massive platforms behind them from large bloggers, have approached me in my inbox, asking me kindly to do what I can for them. It kills me that I have so little to give myself, but I've seen this platform collectively raise enough to change someone's life. I've made a list of Palestinian fundraisers that are extremely low on funds, in the hope that drawing attention to people who have not been lucky at all can help turn that luck around. I know most of us can't possibly give enough to get all of these families safe in one go. But please, reblog this list. Pick one or two fundraisers, give what you can, and then keep track of it. Slowly, collectively, we can make a difference in these people's lives. Share and donate as much as you can. https://docs.google.com/document/d/178EGDFKkHlh3y4TMVX82kqgITHsqtoMdNccI2f_94Os/edit?usp=sharing
a Palestinian from my local group of activists is fundraising to bring her family to Canada. Najlaa is currently less than halfway to her goal of $80,000. please consider donating to help her family.
donations will go towards:
1. Covering the expenses of accommodation in Cairo, Egypt, throughout the visa and biometric process.
2. Meeting the cost of flight tickets from Cairo to Canada.
3. Securing affordable and suitable housing.
4. Addressing monthly necessities such as groceries, utilities, clothing, and shoes.
5. Ensuring access to healthcare and therapy, crucial for the well-being of our family members.
6. Providing monthly financial support until they secure employment.
Trying a new tactic with the fundraisers on my pinned list. These campaigns appear to gain a lot more traction when the number of donations hits a thousand, so here's a way to highlight those that could use more. These have all been vetted by Palestinians on Tumblr. Just like the main list, I'll keep you all updated with how things progress, and as always, if you can't donate, reblog.
