Triple white and triple black AF1s are the same flooded blocking but I feel like they’re both worn for opposite reasons. I wear my 3x whites for going out, and I always feel like 3x blacks are worn for working. The idea of this blocking was that the same shoe can transition you from day til dawn with just a change of color. Work all day, play all night type thing. It was important that we cut the color all the way down to the midsoles to differentiate it from the Scarface, but I still heard people draw a comparison between the two when it came out in 2017.
