Imagine being a legendary warrior from Asgard. Fate played a little trick on you when you faced Thor in battle on Sakaar.

The crowd was cheering, expecting another night of great entertainment. Tonight, however, everyone was in for a big surprise: especially the entertainment themselves.

Loki was drinking some local alcohol when the Grandmaster stood up to announce the upcoming match. His face was bright and smiley even before any word escaped his mouth, betraying his enthusiasm quite openly. What on Earth could get him so pumped up?

"Tonight, we are in for some great entertainment!" he said and let out a chuckle. "A new challenger will face our all-time champion!"

REQUEST: Loki reader fic where Loki is seriously injured , in need of stitches, and the reader treats him despite Loki’s guilt that reader almost got injured herself

Author's note: this is me after three coffees, throwing a suggestive joke for your enjoyment and cringe

Imagine taking care of Loki's wounds despite almost injuring yourself too.

It was a miracle the two of you were alive. Everything that could have gone wrong, did go wrong. "A disaster" could work only as a humorous euphemism. The make the matters worse, you were absolutely sure Loki got his hand burned and yet the foolish man tried to play the hero and pretended he was fine. Instead, he seemed very adamant about checking for your injuries, after you escaped a knife by a hair-breadth. Was it pride or genuine worry, you were unsure. You knew he would wait until most of the court is asleep to sneak around, grab a few essentials, and treat his wound behind closed doors. For his misfortune, you knew him a little too well.

REQUEST: Sorta war horse x loki AU,,, Loki is a captain in the asgardian army ( or whatever ) and the reader is a civilian that Loki takes an interest in and she’s flustered by the attention but her close friends push and encourage the relationship

Author's note: so uhhh I kind of made Loki into a Disney prince...?

Imagine being just a simple civilian who, somehow, catches the eye of a royal general - prince Loki. Although the attention flusters you at first, people around you convince you to try your luck.

"Another victory," you thought to yourself as the parade marched through the city. People gathered around the small army to welcome them home, throw flowers at them and see their families as soon as they could. You didn't know anyone in the Asgardian military but you definitely enjoyed the solemnity of the march-past: the colours, the joy, the hope.

There was, however, another piece of personal agenda you were slightly embarrassed to admit: General Prince Loki Odinson. You weren't the only one attending the parade to sneak a glance at him, many young and older women did so. Ever since he was promoted to the rank of a general, he became more popular than his older brother Thor, who held more power in the court but that power was limited only to the court. Prince Loki became the character associated with keeping peace in the realm and outside of it: a purpose not only glorious but also noble.

Author's note: @mobbucky 's addition gave me this idea. Also, the fact that, for some reason, Tom Hiddleston is in my Korean textbook??

Imagine being the annoying cell neighbor that Loki met at the Asgardian prison. Fed up with how talkative you are, he truly wishes you gone so he can read in peace. One day he wakes up to his neighbor gone and, to his own surprise, feels worried.

Why, for the love of all the Gods, were you still talking? Loki's been in prison for a week now and each day looked more or less the same: he attempted to read while you talked his ear off. So far his strategy was to simply ignore his annoying neighbor in hopes that she will get tired but it seemed that lack of attention didn't matter to you. He realized that if he wished for some peace, he had to do something more drastic than simply ignore you.

REQUEST: Loki x reader where the reader is the youngest princess who’s betrothed to him but she’s insecure about her place in the world (???) and he does his best to make her feel valid

Author's note: This is more feminist than cute and reassuring.

Imagine being a young princess betrothed to Loki. Being so young and having your future decided for you, you start to question your purpose in life and place in the world. Fortunately, your betrothed comes to the rescue with reassuring words.

"Marrying a prince" was the goal of your life. Not a goal that you established, though. Also not a goal you were sure you wanted to achieve. It was simply the only thing expected of you. While your male relatives were told to become conquerors, kings, and scholars, you were only told to be a wife, a lady, a missis. Not that there was something wrong with bearing the responsibility of hearth: it just felt...boring as if the only reason you were born was to belong to a man. First, you belonged to your father, bearing his name and now you were told to become a belonging of another man, taking his name as your own. It felt like yesterday that your governess was teaching your basic mathematics and now your mother was discussing the length and style of your wedding veil. Rushed would be the adequate word: your parents were rushed to marry you off, even if your husband was significantly older than you.

WARNING! GRAPHIC DESCRIPTIONS OF INJURY AND BLOOD

Imagine getting seriously injured on one of your escapades with Loki. Unable to treat your wound yourself, he takes care of you.

You were suspicious that the glass had cut you when you felt your hand sting but at the time you couldn't properly check it as you had to get away from the danger as fast as possible.

It was supposed to be a quick run, as most things you and Loki were ordered to do under his father's command. When it came to things that needed to be done quietly, it was always the two of you: smarter, calmer, and more cunning than Thor and his friends. Politics were often a case of subtlety, not might, and not every bridge had to be burned - some of them are enough to be believed to have been burned. As your mentor said on your very first meeting: poison is considered a cowardly weapon but it is just as effective as a sword.

Imagine meeting Loki in the Asgardian prison, in which your cells are across from each other. Although at first he's annoyed with a talkative neighbor, he quickly grows attached to the little company he could get.

"First time, eh?" a female voice diverted Loki's attention from his book. "You'll settle in after a week or so."

He lifted his gaze to look at his neighbor. The annoyance he felt was painfully obvious from his expression. That neighbor of his was across the corridor separating two rows of cells. Why, in the name of all the Gods, did she have to bother him?

Imagine being Tyr's daughter and sharing his domain. You are also Loki's lover but haven't seen him in a while. The two of you reunite when Thanos attacks the Asgardian ark and you save your love from the brutal titan.

The ark was in pieces. Civilians dead, the surviving ones injured, the ship itself missing most of the structure. The only sources of light were stars surrounding the remnants of the vessel and the occasional fires that started during the collision. Most of the equipment flew out when the ark got hit: decompression took nearly all of the items Asgardians had, along with a few of their lives. Now the fate of the remaining people was up to five characters: Thor, Loki, Bruce Banner, Heimdall...

...and Thanos.

Imagine meeting Loki while he's looking for other variants. He knows something you don't: that an inescapable calamity will kill you in a few hours. Maybe Loki could break the rules one more time, just this once, and save you?

It was 14th April of 5000002021, the day the Sun finally runs out of hydrogen and goes cold. Loki and Mobius expected to find here one of the variants but, unexpectedly, they have also found many other things.

Imagine being Loki's ride-or-die partner in crime, you two always have each other's back and despite being infamous in all of space, you never break your truce. When Loki meets his variants, each of them brings you up in conversations. It turns out you're not friends by accident: he meets you in every timeline.

"What was your nexus event?" Loki asked the black-haired kid.

"I killed Thor," he answered carelessly. "It was a group effort really, although (Y/N) tried to dissuade me at first."

Loki's eyebrows furrowed. Did he hear wrong?

"Hang on." He put his hands up. "(Y/N)?"

"Oh yeah, we all know her," Classic Loki interjected. "Kind of crazy considering we're all from different timelines, right?"

Imagine being Loki's past lover. While he's captured by TVA and put into the Time Cell, they don't replay his memory with Sif: they make him watch you die over and over again.

Before Loki could protest or attempt to explain himself, Mobius used his tempad and the hunters pushed him through the just-opened orange portal.

The world around him changed. It was no longer the TVA facility, no, it was something he could recognize even in the most feverish of dreams. Truthfully, he always wished he could just forget that place, push those memories out of existence.
