We have hit 500 in our little snake den (damn, half of a thousand) and I'm not sure how to express my gratitude. Thank You so much! This blog I have started as a small side-gig, something to practice my writing and I'm very glad that my work has sparked Your interest and, most of all, enjoyment.

For this occasion, I have gathered some song lyrics and made them into writing prompts for Your requests (How to make a request?). I have also made the list into a Spotify playlist!

Imagine having been a Hufflepuff who grew close to Sirius while still at school. Years after parting your ways, you finally meet again at Grimmauld Place.

As the kids tried to eavesdrop on the conversation behind the closed door, someone else walked into Grimmauld Place. It was a woman, late twenties or maybe early thirties. As she walked down the hallway, she looked up and smiled at the teenagers holding one end of the ear telephone.

Imagine grieving your husband's, Sirius', death. Remus tries to be there for you but knows you will never be the same person again.

(Y/N) hadn’t left her room in a little over a week. Everyone was concerned for her but no one really dared to interrupt her grief, although they knew it would be for her own good. One stormy night Remus built up the courage to open the creaky door that lead to Sirius’ bedroom.

Imagine being Sirius' partner and treating Harry like family. When you hear how Dolores Umbridge treats the boy, your protective side comes out.

”Umbridge!” a female voice boomed in the classroom throughout the hall.

Everyone’s eyes snapped towards the stranger. McGonagall eyed the woman carefully, before it came to her, that she knew her. The girl barely aged.

Imagine being Sirius' past lover. Although the two of you never married, he still added you to the family tree.

”My mother did that after I ran away.” Sirius pointed to the burn on the wall. ”After I came back for The Order, I redecorated a bit.”

His finger pointed next to the black spot. There was a wonky tree branch drawn in white paint. It connected the leftovers of Sirius’ portrait with a taped-on photograph. In the picture, there was a woman possibly in her mid or late twenties. She had a buzzcut, plenty of jewelry in her ears, and a remarkably youthful face. From underneath her white shirt and a bit too big leather jacket, emerged jet black tattoos, leaving only her face spotless. The woman was laughing about something and talking to someone who must’ve been behind the camera. Underneath the picture was a shabby handwriting spelling ”(Y/N)”.
