Sans do you ever feel that something might be missing?

Maybe he felt like that at some point, maybe for a long time. In the present, I think he's made some kind of peace with it.

Also, I really like the ask blog format, but I don't really mean this to be an ask blog.

So when writing questions, try to refer them to me instead of the characters. That way, they don't have to break the fourth wall lmao. I really wanted to answer this one tho

Haven't you always wanted to have a big dog pull you around in a wagon? It's surely every child's dream at some point, and Chara has the power to make it happen!

Oh yeah! I did this pic as a followup to this one for @insanelyadd as part of a secret santa event on Ao3! Now that the artists for the event were revealed, I can post it here too ^^

I made this in a frenzy a few months ago after reading But it [Re]Fused by @undertalethingems. I initially had trouble uploading it as a gif, then forgot about it as I got busy with other things, but now I’ve screen-recorded it and it’s posting just fine! Funny how that works.

This was specifically inspired by the description of how their fusion fights, which gives me a headache to read and a headache to watch. (Apologies to flash-sensitive folks, but hey! Now you can pause it! As opposed to nonstop gif looping!) I had a lot of fun making this :-)

I'm in love with the design of Fsh from @undertalethingems

(well, I'm in love with them all and my favourite design is Tresher's but the chapter featuring Fsh was just----)

I was going to draw Revenant but I figured I would better wait until being in a bad mood to try x)

Drawing the blaster was kida hard, it ended up looking more like a cat and less like a fish, because the most fishy parts are hidden ;-;.

I didn't succeed in reproducing the same badass aura Fsh gave me, but the drawing is not all that bad so i'm posting it anyway!

Ah man this looks so cool!!! I really like how the shading tuned out, I know that can be hard to do with marker but it looks good here. I think you should be proud of it, even if it didn’t turn out quite how you wanted--you can always draw another picture and try again ^^

Thank you for drawing my AU! :D

Commissions Complete!

Here’s all but one of the completed commissions--the last one is for an Undertale AU character that hasn’t been revealed yet, so you’ll have to wait for that... :>

But starting from the top, we have:

I hope you all liked your sketches, and for anyone still wanting to buy a sketch commission from me, keep an eye out for my next announcement post!

A true force to be reckoned with, the fusion of Sans and Undyne is usually only seen when they have no other options and absolutely have to get something done or people will get hurt. Combining Undyne’s willpower with Sans’ wits, Fsh is a tough opponent that is every bit as intimidating as they look.

  • Accepts any pronouns, but usually uses they/them
  • Blunt, direct, doesn’t talk much. Can seem unfriendly when they have work to do, but really cares a lot deep down. Not so dour they can’t have any fun; proud of what they can do, they’re given to a little showing off and bragging on occasion, and they like to see others smile.
  • Due to the circumstances they usually fuse under, tends to have a single goal and is driven to pursue it to the end. Un-fuses when that goal is achieved.
  • Looks bulky and is physically strong, but is skeletal underneath their clothing.
  • Has DT. Not enough to control the timeline, but enough to remember a reset, and risk melting if Undyne pushes them too hard. (If they did melt, they would become inseparable—an amalgamate.)
  • Post separation, Undyne usually feels okay, if a little weary, but Sans is sore all over and has very low energy for the next several days, up to a few weeks. This may frustrate Papyrus, but he knows his brother can’t be pushed into recovering any faster.
  • Bad at healing magic.
  • Spear teleportation: they can throw a spear and shortcut to wherever it makes contact. Useful when exact coordinates of the destination are unknown.
  • Scary voice is really scary.
  • More expressive than Sans, but less expressive than Undyne.
  • Truly one-eyed—though Sans can see with unlit sockets just fine, Fsh can only see out of their left. Somehow, it doesn’t seem to affect their depth perception.
  • Battle style: Overwhelming power. Fast attacks, gaster blasters that shoot a single powerful bolt at a time. As likely to use ranged as melee, their bone attacks take the form of bones sharpened to a fine point at one end. Uses fewer shortcuts than Comic Papyrus, but still dodges.
  • Not something Fsh knows, but a fun fact about their blaster: the design is based on Dunkleosteus, a type of armored prehistoric fish that was likely the top predator about 350 million years ago. It seemed fitting to use a fish known for having giant bladed teeth and ‘dunk’ in its name :3

-Headcanons based on @radibe5’s thoughts:

  • The one situation they’ll fuse in that isn’t a matter of life or death? The chance to prank, annoy, or otherwise mess with people in ways Sans and Undyne couldn’t do better on their own. Relies more on shock humor and pranks than puns, and given to sneaking up on people to scare them.
  • When given the chance, they love eating junk food, the worse for them the better. Grillby’s is a favorite, but not all they’re willing to try. Papyrus hates it. Most people hate it. But that only inspires Fsh further. May be left with the magical equivalent of a stomachache (since they don’t have a physical stomach), but always says it was worth it.
  • Only they get to mess with Papyrus—woe to anyone foolish enough to actually hurt Papyrus in any significant way while Fsh is around. It’s a fast track to having daggers glared at you until you feel your sins crawling down your back…
  • x2 combo of not telling people things so they don’t worry/get hurt...

How I headcanon Undyne and sans fusion going big sibling time, they are here to tease and boost up papyrus. Papyrus is their baby bro and they are gonna take care of him, whether he likes it or not.

Comic Papyrus is, unsurprisingly, the fused form of Sans and Papyrus--and just as unsurprisingly, he boasts their best traits, combining Papyrus’ energy and enthusiasm with Sans’ wit and easygoing nature. Always up for shenanigans, japes, and pranks, he’s generally a fun guy to have around--but he’s no slouch in battle either. No matter what he’s up to, he does it with an easy confidence that somehow never edges into outright arrogance. Most get the feeling he can back up his words anyway...

  • Uses He/Him
  • Nonchalant, confident, fun-loving attitude
  • Relaxed manner of speaking—Sans mostly handles the talking, but a little of Papyrus’ vocabulary often slips in.
  • Not so focused on building puzzles, but loves to craft elaborate multi-part pranks
  • can be seen as kind of childish; he goofs off a lot and the bros decided on his look when they were kids--but that doesn’t mean he’s totally incapable of being serious.
  • Loves being fused—is reluctant to drop fusion as each half basks in the care they have for one another; in many ways healthy for both of them—CP has the energy to do things like cooking and cleaning that Sans lacks, but can sleep and relax more easily than Papyrus, giving him a chance to rest.
  • BUT he will un-fuse eventually. The bros still have their own desires, and need for alone-time or disagreements over what to spend time doing or what to eat usually splits them in the end. Unlike many fusions, neither of the brothers suffer much exhaustion after de-fusing--a reflection of how well they work together.
  • Battle style: fair, but chaotic. Combines Sans’ speed and mobility with Papyrus’ control and coordination; makes heavy use of shortcuts and misdirection to keep opponents on their toes. Rarely uses gaster blasters as he generally doesn’t have to--the rest of his abilities are more than enough.
  • fusion doesn’t mean the brothers don’t still have their own secrets...

The fused form of Undyne and Papyrus, Thresher is a nigh-unstoppable ball of enthusiasm and energy. A reflection of their friendship cranked up to 11, there’s really only one way to describe this fusion: intense. The one thing that can reliably put a damper on their spirits is the possibility of needlessly harming those they care about—which, between the two of them, is basically anyone.

  • Uses they/them
  • Endless enthusiasm for whatever they’re doing: fighting? Oh yeah! Puzzles? Duh!!! Just hanging out? It’s gonna be the best hangout possible!
  • Would Die For Their Friends (but would Prefer Not To, because then they don’t get to hang out with their friends anymore)
  • Loud. Seriously, ear protection is required for anyone spending a significant amount of time around them (unless you happen to not have ears, but even then....)
  • Physically very strong, visually intimidating--but hates scaring people. They want to intimidate their enemies, not terrorize their neighbors! (the neighbors were terrorized anyway.... see below:)
  • Can go for days without sleep and is constantly on the move and looking for things to do; this can lead to restlessness and disruption of others’ lives and homes. When they finally un-fuse, both halves are exhausted  from all the activity. Papyrus hates the ensuing downtime, and would probably only succeed in wearing himself out more if Sans didn’t make him relax. Undyne deals with it appropriately but is very grumpy until she recovers. Yet they’re always happy to fuse again.
  • Battle style: attacks are like puzzles and combine blue and green soul magic (block attacks in the right order during green soul mode, maze-like and platforming sections during blue). No gaster blasters, but bone-spear attacks fill same role of special heavy-hitting attack. Enjoys both ranged or hand-to-hand combat. Will challenge anyone, then be disappointed no one wants to fight--but very few can actually match them.
  • Most likely to un-fuse due to almost harming bystanders, exhaustion, and disagreements about puzzle design.
