With Deltarune on the way, there’s no guessing what kind of info will be revealed, but it’s funny to think that (as far as I can remember) there’s literally no mention of “the void” anywhere within Undertale proper, and it’s never stated that Gaster was erased from everyone’s collective memory; he was “shattered across time and space”, whatever that means in practical terms, and all that other stuff is just widely-accepted fanon. Plausible fanon, but fanon nonetheless.

Which means it’s entirely possible that all the monsters remember him just fine, they just… never discuss him. Because he was just a huge jerk, or something. Awkwaaard!

Before the song “UNDERTALE” was completed, it went through a completely different iteration. This version sounds a bit more sad, which I think would have been less effective. It wasn’t until I heard a certain song that I was inspired to completely change the chords and guitar accompaniment. This new guitar accompaniment then served as the basis for “Memory,” so we have a lot to thank that inspiring song for. That’s all of the unused songs.
