As a fellow Silent Hill obsesse , I just want to let you know that James adding the nine red squares to his jacket is a genius detail and I'm sad that I didn't think of it first

Ah!! Thank you! It's so funny, I think the very first iteration of the red squares on the sleeve was literally just a visual placeholder because I was drawing him after first getting into the series and couldn't remember what his actual patch looked like.

Only for it to become a big fanfic plot point and (apparently) something that wound up being associated with me specifically later on, lol!

I'm really glad it stands out in a positive way!

Have a shabby mid-Gravity James!

CHAPTER 4 is freshly edited/updated (with a redrawn banner! The Sunderland house is no longer sagging, crooked, and/or falling over because I’m bad at perspective!). For anyone who’s familiar with Gravity already, there are no significant changes to the overall plot, just a lot of fat-trimming and adjustments for flow.

BUT.... if anyone was planning on starting to give it a read (or reread!)... this is a good time/place to start!   👀  ,

TL;DR: hey there folks, with @partyinthemysterymachine’s encouragement, I am starting to post GRAVITY to Ao3 for the first time, and giving the story a fresh edit in the process. For anyone who’s already read it, there are no significant changes to the story, just a lot of fat-trimming and phrasing adjustments to make it flow better. BUT.... if anyone was planning on starting to give it a read (or reread!)... this is a good time/place to start!  👀

I hadn’t really sat down and just drawn Silent Hill for myself in such a long time so working on this was simultaneously manic and healing.
