Prada’s ‘The Iconoclasts’ Project - Edward Enninful
As part of Prada’s The Iconoclast series, W’s Fashion and Style Director Edward Enninful reimagined the interiors of the Prada stores on Milan’s Via Monte Napoleone. Inspired by the Harlem Renaissance, Enninful dressed the black and white mannequins in a combination of Prada’s Spring 2014 designs and archival pieces—all of them glittering, ‘20s, and oh-so jazzy.
Isabella Blow: Fashion Galore!
The late fashion maverick Isabella Blow was known for her wicked sense of humor and uninhibited style—once, while visiting Karl Lagerfeld in his Paris home, she dragged a dirty chain all over his cream-colored carpet. “She was like a character in a novel,” says Shonagh Marshall, the co-curator of the exhibition “Isabella Blow: Fashion Galore!,” opening on November 20 (through March 2, 2014) at Somerset House in London.
Nicola Formichetti To Part Ways With Mugler
After three years as creative director for the French luxury label, stylist Nicola Formichetti and Mugler are set to part ways. While there is currently little info on the split, Mugler’s general director and president of Clarins Fragrance Group stated “Nicola has accomplished our original mission of bringing his energy to the brand” as the highly sought-after stylist and creative significantly raised Mugler’s profile since his addition in 2010.
Grace Coddington Talks About Her Memoir
When we were offered the rare opportunity to interview Grace Coddington, the longtime creative director of Vogue (and the breakout star of "The September Issue"), we were thrilled. Even more so once we read her recently published memoir Grace. Witty and full of funny anecdotes about her journey from the small town of Anglesey, Wales to the front row of every major fashion show, the book was like gossiping with a colleague about the ins and outs of our industry. In the book, Coddington describes her adventures in modeling in London, her love of cats and, of course, her long tenure at Vogue, working side-by-side with Anna Wintour.

For the 40th anniversary of W magazine, they reached out to the aging icon just one month before she died and this photo shoot was the result. Wearing her own clothing and accessories, this spread poignantly captures Anna’s spirit and unique sense of fashion. Hopefully when we are all her age one day, we will be as fearless as her.

Carine Roitfeld Named Global Fashion Director of Harper's Bazaar
A month after introducing her new CR Fashion Book magazine, Carine Roitfeld has added a title to her résumé. On Thursday, Hearst Magazines named Ms. Roitfeld to the newly created position of global fashion director for Harper’s Bazaar, a somewhat unusual role in that she will collaborate with editors from all 26 international editions of the magazine.

Carine Roitfeld is one of the most famous faces and minds of contemporary fashion. She began her career as a model and muse for the photographer Mario Testino, and participated in the making of the "erotic chic" trend in the late 1990s. After serving as editor-in-chief of French Vogue for ten years, at New York Fashion Week 2012, she presented her new magazine, CR. Irreverent, a book edited by Olivier Zahm, was devoted to her in September 2011.
