How a French Teenager Got His Designs on Rihanna
How do you get noticed as a designer in 2016? According to 19-year-old Parisian Alexandre Daillance (aka Millinsky), not by heading to fashion school, completing internships and then trying to make a name for yourself. Last year, Millinsky had an idea to raise the profile of his hat brand NASASEASONS, which he co-founded aged just 17 – he’d slide into the DMs of Instagram influencers (as well as the inboxes of buyers, fashion editors, and other members of the press) and get them to wear or feature his items.
adidas Reissues the AS 350 for the Very First Time
The adidas AS 350 was arguably one of the rarest models to come out of Herzogenaurach. Originally a Japan-exclusive, the tennis sneaker was released under the AS Series back in the late ’70s and early ’80s, but unfortunately the silhouette hasn’t been brought back from the archives since then. For spring/summer season adidas‘ SPEZIAL line has unveiled a remake of the ultra-rare shoe, one which features a similar perforated toe and premium leather construction. The heritage design also features contrasting black leather accents and gold foil labelling along the side panel. Finished off with tonal lacing and a gum outsole, look to purchase the adidas 350 SPZL at select Three Stripes accounts across the globe.
Air Jordan 1 Retro KO High OG Sail/Varsity Red
Originally released back in 1985, the KO take on the Air Jordan 1 has enjoyed some solid drops in recent years, appearing in a “Shadow” make-up just last month after “Bred,” “Militia Green,” “Royal” and “Rivalry” editions had surfaced in 2015 and 2014. Now the underrated ’80s classic is back again — this time in a Sail/Varsity Red combo. True to the OG, a canvas upper is once again paired with Vandal tooling while red accents — in this case — pop on an otherwise white execution.
Saint Laurent Launches On Instagram
In addition to the news of the show, Saint Laurent revealed that it is also expanding its social media presence. Though the brand has been active on Twitter since 2009, it wasn't until three days ago that the label finally conceded to Instagram, bringing along its signature black-and-white aesthetic and affinity for all-caps captions.

Gucci Cruise 2016 Collection Editorial
Alessandro Michele may have just taken over the Creative Director role at Gucci this year, but the Roman designer is no stranger to the storied Italian label: Michele honed his trade over more than a decade inside the Gucci design studio prior to his appointment this past January. That twelve-year tenure has served him well — Michele received the prestigious International Fashion Designer of the Year award at the British Fashion Awards held on November 23. Michele’s penchant for bohemian-inspired design has made him a global favorite while restoring Gucci’s status as one of the most influential labels on earth.
adidas Originals Stan Smith "Powdered Red"
After dropping a tonal “Night Indigo” colorway of the iconic Stan Smith silhouette, the Three Stripes is back with a vibrant “Powdered Red” iteration of the low-top sneaker. Featuring a smooth felt construction across the shoe’s upper, the usual perforations along the side panel and tonal renderings of the midsole and leather overlays finish off this latest design.
A First Look at the Public School x Air Jordan Horizon
Public School NYC has long been collaborating with Jordan Brand on a few of its signature sneakers such as the Air Jordan 10 and Air Jordan 12, so the Horizon might come as a surprise to some. The silhouette features a fully-knitted upper set atop an Air Jordan 13 sole, and is similar to the popular Air Jordan Future lifestyle sneaker. Public School NYC’s iteration of the Horizon features a black and white upper featuring geometric shapes. Although an official release date hasn’t been made, expect this pair to retailer around $225 USD.
