ESPN the Magazine: 2012 The Body Issue

Celebrating the physical form of the world’s elite athletes, ESPN the Magazine presents its fourth annual “The Body Issue.” Featuring 27 male and female athletes across the sporting world, the latest issue includes the likes of New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski, New York Knicks center and reigning NBA Defensive Player of the Year Tyson Chandler, Strikeforce Women’s Bantamwweight Champion Ronda Rousey, the U.S. Women’s National Volleyball Team, WNBA star Candace Parker, and many more. Opening Ceremony Is Launching An Annual Magazine

Opening Ceremony is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a Rizzoli book, but the shop and brand with three locations worldwide is also launching a magazine called the OC Annual. Each issue, released once a year, will revolve around a theme. Naturally, the first issue will be focused on the 2012 London Olympics and will be released in August. According to WWD via an internal OC memo, founders Humberto Leon and Carol Lim hope to make it a "collectible publication for a new generation" and only 30,000 issues will be published.
