Maison Martin Margiela "Avant Première" Printed Leather Lace-Ups
Maison Martin Margiela presents these Avant Première lace-ups as part of thier Fall/Winter 2013 collection. The shoes appear to be in line with the Margiela we’ve come to know, and it comes at no surprise considering the brand’s recent collaborative effort with Converse. Instead of hand-painting the shoes, the Parisian design team employed a technique in which paint stroke patterns were printed on the leather. The lace-ups can be found directly through Margiela’s e-boutique for $795.
Miu Miu Glitter Oxfords
This is one of those closet items you call a “statement shoe”. Part Michael Jackson, part Dorothy of Kansas, the glittering oxfords will most likely take you through another dimension.
