Alexandre Vauthier Spring 2014 Haute Couture
With a wall of glowing lights at the far end of a glossy black runway, it seemed that Alexandre Vauthier wanted to establish a nightclub ambience for his Spring couture show. Not so. "It was beach and windsurf!" he said emphatically, noting that even the ambient music reinforced the mellow vibe. There was, come to think of it, a beachy attitude to the oxblood bra that appeared midway through—its cups framed in crocodile—and to the hot pants that opened the show.
Cara Delevingne for LOVE Magazine VIDEO
You know how impressed everyone was that the actors in Les Misérables sang their songs in a single, zoomed-in take? Well, Cara Delevingne can do that, too, only lip-synching to Shania Twain's "That Don't Impress Me Much" and holding a kitten at the same time. In a video for LOVE magazine, she wears a bondage mask and performs the whole song with the help of a Russian Blue kitten, who steals the show

Still Sexy After All These Years
Nobuyoshi Araki is a Japanese artist who unapologetically creates art around a central theme: sex. He has created over 450 books in his lifetime and has an uncanny ability to make anything and everything appear erotic. We interviewed Araki a while back and he seems like on old angry genius who thinks about photography constantly to an obsessive degree, and his outputs shows it. He is about to add another book to his catalog, because Taschen is releasing a limited edition retrospective of his favorite bondage imagery he’s compiled over his storied career. It even comes in its own wooden box, for safe keeping/hiding. Check out the photos of beautiful Japanese women who are tied up, if that sounds like something you’d be interested in.

Dsquared² Ready-to-Wear S/S 2013 MFW
“Dean and Dan Caten channeled an influential Peter Lindbergh Vogue shoot circa 1990 on their Spring runway. You know the one—Naomi, Cindy, Linda, et al. vamping in motorcycle leather and miniskirts. The biker hats, the pearls and gold chains, the super-leggy silhouette—the look is so up the Catens’ street, it’s almost a surprise they haven’t been here before.
Cartier and Chanel presumably won’t be thrilled that the Dsquared² boys have lifted their ultra-recognizable logo typefaces for T-shirts emblazoned with their last name. And those quilted Coco-isms might prove problematic for them as well. But other than those instances, the runway was loaded with bankable merchandise of the kind that Dsquared² specializes in: shrunken leather jackets, even shrunken-er denim shorts with cheeky lace insets, an LBD with corset detailing, cropped schoolboy blazers, and a leopard-print party dress topped by bondage straps with hearts in place of O rings. All in all, a fun, sexy ride.”

Madonna's 'Girl Gone Wild' Too Raunchy for YouTube VIDEO
The video-sharing site has restricted Madonna's latest music video "Girl Gone Wild," with all its high-heeled manitard action, to viewers 18 years and older after informing the singer's team (as the Post put it) that "they must edit out shots of bare bottoms, a man rubbing his crotch and an implied masturbation scene where a man gyrates before a mirror." While Madonna's rep compared this to early nineties MTV censorship of "Justify My Love" (which is freely viewable on YouTube despite exposed nipples, bondage gear, and a simulated sex scene), a more sedate version of the video is reportedly in the works.
