'Tape Paris' at Palais de Tokyo By COS

COS, other than making incredibly simple, beautiful clothing also show a large amount of support toward the arts. Their latest co-sign goes to art collective Numen/For Use, responsible for this interactive installation entitled “Tape Paris” at Parisian gallery Palais de Tokyo. The site-specific work is literally constructed from clear tape — and it’s strong enough to hold five bodies at a time! Experience the mind-blowing sculpture along with the work of 30 more artists at “Inside,” the latest show now open at Palais de Tokyo.

Inside Chloé’s Paris Retrospective

All total, the exhibit features 70 pieces from the Chloe archives, highlighting designs and campaign imagery from nine key designers from 1952 to today: founder Gaby Aghion, Gérard Pipart, Maxime de La Falaise, Karl Lagerfeld, Martine Sitbon, Stella McCartney, Phoebe Philo, Hannah MacGibbon and Clare Waight Keller. And a special shout out goes out to the exhibition’s hair artist Angelo Seminara, who livened up the typically drab fashion mannequins by creating elaborate hair pieces for each set of looks, sometimes intricately knotting mannequins’ hair together.

The Future Will Last a Very Long Time

The actress, Tilda Swinton is the star of a new short film directed by photographer Katerina Webb titled The Future Will Last a Very Long Time. Webb created the film during rehearsals for a live happening called The Impossible Wardrobe, which artist Olivier Saillard will stage during the Festival d'Automne à Paris, to be held at the Palais de Tokyo from Sept. 29 to Oct. 1.
