New York Newbies: The 10 models to Know This Season
New York Fashion Week is the first of the four major international fashion weeks, meaning it's a model's first chance to get noticed by casting directors, designers, editors, anyone! That said, more often than not, the biggest new faces often slip through the cracks at NYFW, only to be booked as high profile exclusives in Milan or Paris. (Like Karlie Kloss, for example.) To combat that we picked out the 10 new models to watch out for now, because they're going to be big deals when Fashion Week comes to a close. Check out our list and tell us which New York newbie your rooting for.
NYFW 2013: Models To Watch
Stop, drop, and strike a pose — it's New York Fashion Week! You know what that means. Parties, street style, hardcore accessorising and the occasional bitchslap slash gross display. Don't pretend you don't love it. Then, of course, there's the modules. So many upcoming, gorgeous young things get their big break at NYFW. When it comes to deciding who goes from random cat-walker to 'It-girl,' New York's week-of-weeks sets the trend.
That's why we've made a list of fashion most promising. These guys are not only extremely tall and good at fitting into pieces of clothing — most of them are also rabid Instagrammers. Follow them for behind-the-scenes goodness this week, before they blow up.
