Young & Reckless Presents ALF | Recap
Los Angeles streetwear imprint Young & Reckless recently threw a pop-up shop and gallery show at Known Gallery with their latest muse ALF at its center. Calling upon the main attraction of the self-titled sitcom on ABC in 1985, the ALF project enlisted renown artists like Morning Breath, Omens, Tristian Eaton, Cleon Peterson and Grant Cobb to illustrate their own iterations of the iconic cartoon character. The pop-up shop featured one-of-a-kind pieces of art inspired by the show alongside vintage ephemera — trading cards, lunch boxes, TV Guides and Sega video games — with odes of ALF’s characteristics. The event saw the likes of Kat Von D, Rob Dyrdek and J.J. Watt mingle with local creatives and ALF fans alike.
