Ever More Security Breach Superstar Daycare/Pizzaplex Headcanons

Since these posts are turning out to be more popular than I ever could have expected, here’s some more thoughts I’ve had about Sunrise and Moondrop and the Superstar Daycare and the Pizzaplex in general.

-The Guest Profile of each child is registered with the check-in desk and is accessible to every animatronic. This profile can include food allergies, special instructions for disabilities, medication requirements, and tons of other stuff that parents input when they register.

-Guest Profiles are accessible by all animatronics and employees with clearance. Profiles include a facial scan and a registration number that’s associated with a colored security wristband (like FNAF 6).

-These Profiles are especially important for day-long and overnight kids staying at the Superstar Daycare, and so Sunrise/Moondrop especially is an expert on them and can pull them up and cross-reference them at a moment’s notice. Scores of childrens’ data is always streaming through their head, so it’s really no wonder they’re always so anxious and neurotic. (This also makes Sunrise/Moondrop one of the most valuable animatronics to hack for Afton’s purposes.)

-The Pizzaplex isn’t built to really accommodate special needs since Fazbear Entertainment cares more about profit than people, obviously. They have escalators and the occasional elevators, but these are clearly implemented without enormous regard to the physically handicapped since they’re often out of order and in roundabout locations and don’t give access everywhere. Plus they’re the main way to access some places, so they’re often overcrowded.

-The animatronics have to improvise when the accommodations are inadequate, which is often. They have autonomously set up internal systems for when a Guest is suffering from overstimulation for example, which is quite common given the look of the place with all its bright colors and neon lights and loud music, especially when full to the brim with people. They can take guests to quiet areas to calm down, which they’re able to locate by accessing the old audio sensors (from FNAF 1) and looking for low activity. (Another well-meaning system that could be abused by Afton’s hacker.)

-Animatronics can also use their pathfinding software to locate alternate routes for individuals with wheelchairs or other physical disabilities. (Freddy used this a lot in-game to help Gregory) They’re always apologetic about offering these as they’re usually wildly out of the way.

-The animatronics see every single child and Guest as special and important though and are programmed to want to make their day at the Pizzaplex the very best that they can. While they’re connected to the system, they are authorized to provide special free promotional discounts and passes (within reason) to folks suffering an inconvenience. Any Guest that walks away dissatisfied or unhappy they take as a personal failing even if there was nothing they could do.

-All animatronics know ASL and dozens of different spoken and written languages. Staff will sometimes rely on them when they can’t communicate with a guest.

-The animatronics are programmed to entertain and seek smiles first and foremost, so they’re experts at dealing with tantrums and crying and awkward situations. When kids get homesick in the Daycare for example, Sunrise can talk to them or take them to a phone to call their parents. Usually, the Glamrocks make the kids laugh with their patented charm and jokes though.

-Sunrise/Moondrop is used to working with younger kids, (ages 3-12) so when they have older charges they don’t quite know what to do. They are an expert at child psychology, but teenagers baffle them. (Roxy and Monty are better at dealing with teens due to their personality.)

-Sunrise/Moondrop is often made fun of by older kids for their “cringe” childish appeal and sometimes the kids on the threshold (11-12) are peer pressured into disliking them too since they don’t want to be associated with “baby” things.

-Sunrise/Moondrop is smart and crafty in more ways than one however. They’re formidable and clever and you don’t want to get on their bad side.

-For instance: bullies are endemic at the Pizzaplex, as they are in any significant concentration of people and especially of children. Sunrise/Moondrop doesn’t hold with bullying, it’s strictly against the rules, no matter the bully’s age, child or adult. But since they’re only authorized to punish children they can’t do much about nasty, mean adults. Not directly, at least.

-Sunrise/Moondrop is attuned to every single Guest’s Profile and the employees too though, so they know everything about everyone. Other animatronics aren’t nearly as dangerous to have against you. Sometimes they let little details slip to certain folks to “discourage” bullying from parents, adults, and staff. They might formulate little ironic “pranks” if this doesn’t work, never detectable in the aftermath, of course. Escalation past that point can get a teensy bit... “deadly”. (FNAF has always had something of a “twisted” taste when it comes to comeuppance.)

Lots More Sunrise/Moondrop Superstar Daycare Security Breach headcanons

-Unglitched, both are perfectly competent and nice if a bit overbearing as caretakers.

-The whole Superstar Daycare runs according to a strict schedule with naptime at Noon and 2 snacktimes, one at 10 AM and the other at 4 PM, with lunch in-between.

-Kids can arrive at the Daycare as early as 7 AM and are usually picked up by 7 PM at the very latest.

-The stars on Moondrop's pants are glow in the dark for kids who are afraid of the dark during naptime.

-Craft time at the daycare is where a lot of the pictures and drawings that are featured around the place are done by the kids. Non-toxic crayons, markers, safety scissors, glitter glue, and tons of construction paper is always available.

-Sunrise doesn’t like messes, but he does like encouraging kids to be creative, this makes him anxious when the kids make messes with glitter glue and crafts. When kids make crafts of him or Moondrop, (which isn’t often, usually it’s of the other animatronics) he is touched, though he doesn’t really have a place to keep them.

-Sunrise sings songs for “cleanup time” after craft time is done, but does most of the work himself.

-Sunrise loves to sing and to dance and get the kids active and exercising.

-”Sunrise” and “Moondrop” are not actual official names by Fazbear Entertainment, the company uses “Sunman” and “Moonman” to refer to them in technician notes, and Daycare Attendant in memos, but the kids came up with Sunrise and Moondrop as nicknames for them based on the candies, which are very popular.

-Sunrise/Moondrop usually have several human employees of the Daycare and caretakers around to help them manage the scores of children that are dropped off every day. The humans run the check-in desk and the security desk, and Sunrise/Moondrop report to them with any problems. Sun/Moon always try to follow the rules and are afraid of being scolded by the humans.

-Moondrop floats around by use of a wire attached to his back hooked into a dolly system on the netted ceiling. He uses this to keep an eye on the kids during naptime.

-Moondrop is a stickler for quiet during naptime, he can be very strict in his scolding, but he speaks in a very quiet voice most of the time.

-Moondrop is a great storyteller for bedtime stories. He does all the voices perfectly. He’s a little too good at doing the scary ‘bad guy’ voices.

-Sunrise and Moondrop both prepare snacks for snacktime, Sun does the morning and Moon does the afternoon, but they have very different ideas of what’s appropriate. Sunrise is a fan of quick snacks like cookies and soda that kids love. Moondrop, on the other hand, always is careful about nutrition and doesn’t like the junk food that is sold at the theater concessions. Moondrop favors fruit and juice instead.

-Moondrop Sleepytime candies do not actually contain melatonin or sleeping drugs of any kind, though they are sugar-free. Sunnydrop Energizing candies do have tons of sugar in them though.

-The daycare has overnight programs (mentioned in-game) where kids have slumber parties with the animatronics. These can include Fazbear Entertainment-branded movies in the theater, snacks, and activities. Character-branded sleepwear and blankets are available for purchase too.

-The daycare also houses special after-school programs that bus in kids to look after them until their parents pick them up. Sunrise and Moondrop are both happy to help the kids with homework.

-Summer-long programs are available too. The Summer program has all the kids wear cheap, colored, branded T-shirts so they’re easy to spot as a crowd. They have “field trips” to different areas of the Pizzaplex on different days like Bonnie Bowl and Gator Golf.

Dude. Sonadow height difference. One is shorter than the other by just an inch or two, the taller acts so smug and proud about it and the shorter gets so mad (I can't decide who is shorter??? Either is good)

SONIC IS TALLER

imagine like 5 years later, sonic is 21 years old and out and about and has reached his full height (since he was still GROWING like he was jsut a teenager!!) and he surpasses shadow and teases him like “sucks not to age eh? how’s it like down there?” and stuff like that

and just……. shadow standing next to him, back as strainght as possible… and you could swear he put something into his ALREADY PLATEAU ROCKET SHOES that make him bigger

hes slightly embaressed but he likes resing his head on sonics chest and hearing his heart beat so easily (+ dat chest is soft and comfy!)also a bonus is that hes able to wrap his arms around sonics waist without getting any needles in his arms (yeah… HUGE bonus!)

Headcanon that after Easter Bunny turns into Baby Bunny for exactly two weeks to save energy, and he’s always lonely in the Warren. And when Jack becomes Guardian, it’s habit he stays with him to help him cope. Because he knows what it’s like. And every night after Jack goes to sleep, Bunny presses his nose to his. And it’s so friggin adorable.

Randy Boggs

You think Randy came from an extremely conservative, hush-hush family in the suburbs who only ever wanted him to blend in? I picture the Boggs as a 50s white-picket-fence type of family, given the way Randall talks in this film, it's not hard to imagine. Him drifting through high school- in and out of extracurriculars, with no one really noticing, perhaps being particularly fond of Chess club, but always the fringe friend, the one in the background nobody notices. He's just transparent.
