🍃 Baby Rocket and Papa Groot 🍃
Just some short and cute fluff! The story is meant to be a parallel to the I Am Groot short "Magnum Opus".
Hope you enjoyed! (I think Tumblr knocked down the quality a bit, hopefully enlarging the pictures should make it better)
@raccoonfallsharder I know you were looking forward to this one!
YOOO I made another comic!!! I wanted to explore how Groot was Rocket’s first friend post Halfworld🫂 enjoy!
(TW vomit, alcohol)
I made another Rocket comic!! It’s inspired by my own battle with PTSD, dreams and nightmares, and finding people who are there for you when those dreams wake you up. I hope you like it🫂
Everything hasn't just gone off script, it has taken the script and burned it into a fine ash!

[Images description: four traditional drawings of several Muppets characters: Bert and Ernie taking care of a young Elmo, and Kermit taking care of Robin the frog. In the first drawing, Bert and Ernie are out on the street with Elmo. Bernie is holding Elmo’s hands and looking down at him as Elmo points excitedly across the street at Kermit and Robin. Ernie sees them too, and smiles. In the second drawing, Bert, Ernie, and Kermit sit around a table in a house or apartment while Elmo and Robin play. Ernie and Kermit are talking, while Bert looks at Elmo with a fond smile as Elmo excitedly shows him a paper. In the third drawing, the five of them sit on a couch, Robin on Elmo’s head, while Kermit reads to the kids. Bert is leaning against the arm of the couch and has his head propped against his fist with his eyes closed. In the last drawing, Kermit is putting his jacket back on by the door, and Bert talks sternly to the other three with his arms crossed. Ernie is sitting on the floor, Elmo is on his shoulders, and Robin is on Elmo’s shoulders. The artist’s signature is in the bottom right corner of every drawing and reads, “@beartnie” in all capitals. /End description]
I love that this seems to be echoing the style of Arnold Lobel's art.
I get a lot of Frog & Toad comparisons, probably more than any other style, and it’s flattering but also a total coincidence lmao. I hadn’t heard of his books until roughly a year ago and it was mostly via the comparisons.
