WIP of @unclekoopus‘s AU request, Young homeless Angus and Famous rock star/folk singer Bodi.

Angus gets a button in his cup, Which causes him to question why he bothers with music. But his idol Bodi comes out with a new uplifting song about perseverance called, Glorious.

EDIT: HE HAS DIFFERENT COLORED EYES

Angus covers his eyes because his blue eye is a give away that he’s deaf in one ear and that would give other musicians an advantage over him.

Oh it’s not like confirmed, it’s just a theory, because cats with blue eyes are usually deaf in the eye it corilates with

It’s my favorite tbh! I mean why else would there be that dramatic reveal at the end? I think that was probably the directors intention, I can’t imagine why they’d go with two eye colours, and go out of their way to hide it till the end if not for good reason xD

It’s a fine headcanon, but I dont know that Angus’s heterochromia was super secret. They did give a hint to it in the branding on his posters around town:

I think the reveal in lowering the glasses and showing his eyes for the first time was more emotional and symbolic of him letting down his wall of selfishness, seclusion, and self-centeredness for Bodi than anything else. Character development ftw.

Ok,so Rock Dog is such a cute movie

It’s a simple movie, but it really made me feel happy! I loved all the characters!

I made some sketches for two of the main charas: Bodi and Angus (which I ship so sooooo much <3)

Go see it when it comes out in the us!
