Yess, especially during Order meetings, he'll whisper something under his breath taking a shot at someone and he'd just hear Tonks trying not to laugh and fail at it. The laugh does something to him and he knows he wants to hear it more. So he starts to say them more and sometimes he doesn't just whisper them. Eventually Tonks starts sitting next to him and he whispers them in her ear and she giggles and oh my god Severus stop blushing like you have a schoolgirl crush 😂😩.

Auror brutality is a thing canonically (example the incident with McGonagall) and I'm sure teenage Snape either experimented it himself or saw some of his peers be brutalized in both worlds either by aurors or muggle police so I'm sure he was a punk during his teenage years and is both ACAB and AAAB

(i saw that post where he lectures Tonks on what being punk really meant and i low-key got obsessed with it)

Now i can't help but think of all the eye rolls Severus must have done while listening to the Aurors in the order meetings. I like Tonks well enough and i don't support her bashing but she was fresh out of the auror program and probably still had a lot of faith in the system so i can see her confronting Severus like "what is your problem?" And his low-key anarchist ass responding with a rant on the systematic discrimination enforced by Aurors in the Wizarding world and everything it brings with it

They are both a little right and they are both little wrong and I'm not trying to bash either, just thought it had the potential to be an interesting dynamic (i may also be influenced by the last season of Brooklyn 99)

We could explore more about how Severus became more confident in his teaching job.
Headcanon: Bill Weasley loves DADA and tells Professor Snape and he becomes his favorite student and the only likable Gryffindor.
Tonks causing trouble when she transforms into her classmates and professors.
There is just so much we could play with.

had a fucking hilarious dream that tumblr replaced the "block" function with the far funnier "glock" function, which did the exact same thing except whenever anyone blocked you a random bullet hole, like a png of a bullet hole, would appear on your blog. discourse blogs were unreadable bc you'd go to the page and the sheer amount of bullet hole pngs stacked over the blogs obscured everything. I woke myself up laughing
