something i really liked about into the spider verse, as opposed to oh idk infinity war, is that they made it very very clear that kingpin **thought** he had a good, noble, empathetic reason for doing what he was doing, but DID NOT ACTUALLY, he was just a selfish asshole

A friend of mine on Facebook in reaction to whispers about Jamie Foxx being cast as Electro in the next Spiderman movie.

My problem with them making Electro Black is that I thought his privileged mindset is what drove him to crime. Also I am fucking tired of us PoCs being the fucking villains, like really that is the only role they could come up with for us?
