so george hull who did concept art for guardians two, blade runner 2049, tfa, and tlj, also worked on jupiter ascending, elysium, battleship, transformers rotf + dotm, iron man two, speed racer! and so on and got his start on the matrix sequels

so tldr if you liked the visual aesthetic of some / all of those movies (in fairness, not all of them are great), that all spun out of the wachowskis.

this is like finding out doug chiang, who did all the concept art in the prequels that was better than the movie, is still working on star wars and is the reason rogue one looked as good as it did

tldr the prequels and the matrix sequels were garbage movies with amazing production design, and some of those people are finally getting attached to decent scripts from time to time
