Look I'm not saying this is bullshit but if Korra and Asami were men people would be jerking themselves off with how nuanced and wonderful the romance was, and there would be literally no escaping the gif sets of every moment they spend together and analyses of looks and seconds and FRAMES I mean tell me I'm wrong here.
It’s true. The fandom would be collectively reblogging Korrasami had they been pale, pretty men. There’d be no end to the think pieces about each frame of screen time they shared leading up to the final scene.

I firmly believe a vast majority of men hate women. I was just thinking about this today. They won’t admit to it, like this quotation suggestions, but in their opinions and actions it becomes clear they truly hate women.
“No, I LOVE women!” they protest.
Yes, you love looking at women. You love fucking women. You love pushing their buttons and objectifying them and letting them do things for you. You love judging them and masturbating to them and having them on your arm on a night out.
But you do not actually have any respect for women. You view them as inferior, you don’t question this.
I explained this to someone I had dated and of course he wouldn’t hear a word of it.

This is why I don’t believe guys who tell me that the condom is too small.
When I was in middle school, we had a woman come teach us about contraception, and literally the first thing she told us was ‘Ladies, if a guy ever tells you he can’t wear condoms because they’re too small, he’s lying’ and then proceeded to open a condom and stretch it up her forearm up to her elbow.
