I was in the cyber flied during the arcade fight thing, when they suddenly came out of nowhere. I think they were supposed to be a version of Frisk but they look nothing alike.
Anyhow, what shall we name them? Cuz they're definitely not Frisk or Kris.

Poncho is the placeholder nickname for my player until I reveal their name :D
It's a reference to their darkworld outfit, which has a poncho.
You may also call him twigs.
here's a funny idea. Do a recreation of Queen's "hiding with the person you're trying to find" scene:
after saving Kris, Poncho continues to run into a back alley.
Kris, now realizing Poncho is in fact not evil starts chasing Poncho cuz they want to apologize or something.
Susie starts chasing Kris cuz she just wants to know what the frick is going on, but Kris doesn't want Susie to know that the Kris she's been talking to isn't the real Kris so Kris is also running away from Susie.
Poncho enters the scene and finds a crevice in the wall to hide in (similar to that one scene with Queen)
Ralsei and Kris enter
Kris: DID YOU SEE WHERE THEY WENT
Ralsei: (sees Poncho) N-no I don't think so.
Susie: (off-screen) Kris!
Kris sees the crevice, and decides to hide in there as well to avoid Susie, Not realizing Poncho is there.
Susie: Ralsei! did you see where they went?
Kris makes some kind of noise, and Susie hears, and starts to turn around.
Poncho gets an idea: "honk honk just the sounds of traffic"
Susie: oh ok
Kris: (silently, to Poncho) thank you!
Kris gets out and continues to look for Poncho
Poncho: (to Ralsei) What just-
Ralsei: I have no idea!
Kris pauses, realizing what just happened
Kris: WAIT A MINUTE
the chase continues
OH MY GODDD THATS GENIUS!! ahhh if only i could find a way to fit this into the comic… I might include it as a non-canon scene but who knows. Anyways thanks for the great suggestion 👍

Yeah, I agree that vessels, player OCs, or just self-inserts who aren't skeletons are painfully underutilized in UTDR. There is a huge untapped potential for this that the community somehow never exploited.
Especially since the meta themes of the games make it incredibly OC-friendly. Combining that with the fact that you could LITERALLY make your own self-insert at the start of Deltarune, I was deeply surprised this idea wasn't that popular. However, I'll be glad to be one of it's pioneers ;)
Also I really never expected to literally become other people's inspiration, thank you dude aaaaaaaaaaaaa 😭🙏
Enemies to lovers is my all-time favorite dynamic, But I never knew how to write romance as such and it always gave cringe to read my fanfics 😩 🖐️

I can’t really say lmao. The thing about life is: plans will almost always go wrong. I’ve already mentioned in the master post that this comic does not have a fixed update schedule, and I don’t make promises or deadlines as to when to post these pages.

FAVOURITE PART OF THE COMIC, GO!
Ohhh.. can’t really say. I’m tied between the fight scene and player’s homeless shenanigans.
On one hand, I liked the fight scenes because they were fun to make and I’m surprised they even came out as well as they did, considering this was the first time I’ve actually choreographed a fight in a comic before.
On the other hand I liked drawing the player being a homeless raccoon, because I liked the comedically contrasting aspect of an eldritch time manipulating body snatching god living a humble, impoverished lifestyle even.

It's been a pretty busy week in college for me lately, and I've got exams coming up + a shit ton of assignments. I've also been dealing with a bit of burnout as of late, so I'm taking a break until I feel ready to continue again.
Sorry if I've gone quiet for much longer this time, it's just that lately, I haven't been able to work up much energy to work on Redeemer's Path.
My crack theory predection of how the fight'll end up:
Ralsei: Stop fighting both of you!
Kris: They started it!
Poncho: EXCUSE ME? I' m not the one who starting throwing hands- Er well... Swords.
Kris: You ruined my life!
Poncho: Then why do think I left? Why do you see me out here instead of in there, hm?
Kris: ....
Susie: What the hell is going on?
Kris: You're still a b***h.
Poncho: Yeah fair.
Hmm, not bad! You should co-write this series lmao /hj
It's gonna play out something like that, except Ralsei isn't really gonna be "talk no jutsu-ing" Kris out of things :P
