the gachaincels blog that talks about Korean feminism in popular spaces in English is so fucking cooked man the blog was talking uncritically about the 4b movement
Like, you can judge someone's attitude re: trans women in South Korean feminist spaces by the way they talk about the 4B movement. It's a movement spearheaded by some truly awful people and have spawned some truly awful groups and even have gotten, like, the solution to their grievances wrong. Literally the only thing they got right was the oppression of the South Korean women, and this is, as I've said over and over, because of the prevailing anticommunist brainwashing that most South Korean youths go through.
Do you have any English language articles like explaining that? Which show how the 4B movement is transphobic?
Because while I've heard this claim many times, no one seems to add evidence.
No ♥. I have Korean sources because I'm a Korean person talking about a Korean phenomenon with Korean participants. If you think the only source that matters is, "English-language articles," and try to very unsubtly imply that this means the transphobia is not real, then you can either learn Korean and track down the Korean sources I freely reference or try to ask people that are more patient than me. Overall, I keep finding that westerners aren't actually interested in anything we say about the material reality and the way they rudely ask for proof to be tailored to them (rather than, you know, people actually going through the stuff that doesn't English) rather than make a halfway effort to at least try not to imply that we're lying about our own experience.
brock was smart as fuckk for putting the pan on his head my dumbass wouldve probably hit ash with it and then lost a true friend in the process

The way you change your immediate reactions to things is that you catch yourself having an uncharitable/bigoted/overly judgmental thought and you catch it and replace it and then you do that a hundred times a day for your whole life and eventually one day like five years later you realize that you think differently now and you’ll always be working on something but that’s how life goes and that’s fine.
Say you have a bad habit of thinking all other people are stupider than you and want to respect other people’s intelligence more.
So you start paying attention to your immediate first reactions to things. You notice that when other people around you are struggling with a math problem and ask you for help you default to seeing them as annoying and stupid.
Instead of chastising yourself for having that thought, interrogate it. Replace it. Think, why do I assume people with different strengths are dumber than I am? I need help sometimes too. I’m glad they’re comfortable enough with me to ask me for help. I’m glad I’ve got a reputation of being the math guy and can help people with that.
And the first time, perhaps the first few dozen times, it’ll feel disingenuous. The cynicism in your brain will fight it. But in time it’ll become as easy as breathing. First thought, replace thought.
And then one day you don’t need to replace that thought. That might be a month from now or twenty years from now. And it’s annoying to get there. But you do get there.
Dont mess with ugly baby bird fans. Theres dozens of us

I am calling on my followers and anyone else reading this post to take time to donate at least 10 euros to Nader's family's campaign, especially if you stopped scrolling to vote in the poll. It is vetted (#4 on the list).
Nader has gone through unimaginable pain and conditions continue to worsen. If you cannot donate, at least share this campaign, including on other social media sites if you have a following there.
