Donatello's inventions aren't the only things that are broken.
We're still here, Fearless, don't worry.
Leo copes with residual, morbid fear following the fungus incident. Donnie believes it is because he was hit with spores multiple times that the fungus' effects upon his mind have not yet dissipated entirely. He becomes anxious whenever his brothers are not near, and struggles to even meditate alone without being plagued by visions of them disappearing. Luckily, his brothers pick up on his anxiety, and start going out of their way to just remind him that they're still there.
Sons and Daughters or 'SAD'
When Donnie hypothesizes that Master Splinter will abandon the four of them to be with Miwa upon the completion of his retro-mutagen, Michelangelo panics; after all, their Sensei says he loves them, but how could they ever truly compare to the worth of his only daughter?

So a few days ago, my sister and I were discussing Splinter-Raph and Leo parallels, and then Shredder-Donnie parallels when she was like, "What about Mikey?"
And suddenly i thought it would have been the cutest thing if Tang Shen
was the bright, happy one in her and Yoshi's relationship, and Mikey kind
of reminded him of her. xD
and cats.
My sister and I have headcanons about Donnie sucking his thumb when he was little and therefore exasperating his diastema. x)
