I can’t speak for the author but as far as I’m concerned that’s a no, men have unequal power in a relationship with the balance tipped heavily in their favor, it’s impossible for a woman to rape a man. Besides most men don’t have the emotional maturity to use this retroactive consent withdrawal properly. They would abuse it or do it simply for the “lolz”.
Giving only women this power gives them absolutely crushing power in the relationship. What makes you think they would not abuse it?

Raped women already have a major hard time putting their rapists in jail, and when ppl that weren’t raped decided they were all of a sudden and get in the way of real cases, you can imagine how it doesn’t help. The safe answer is we are not sure. Attempts to study it are confounded by small sample sizes, widely varying results and questionable methodology.
Let’s take a very conservative estimate, the FBI says 8%.
There were 79,770 rapes reported to law enforcement in 2013.
So that’s 6,381 rape accusations that year which were clearly false.
Btw, all retroactive revocations of consent would be false accusations.
So a woman’s words mean nothing? If they can just change their mind all they want about it, doesn’t that mean that over all their words are meaningless?
