Why can't we just agree that both the Africans who sold Africans into slavery and the Europeans who bought them were uncivilized. Do we really need to argue about this? The whole thing was wrong no matter what color the participants were or who started/stopped first. This isn't kindergarten.
Let's look at what you just said for a second. Slavery was 200-300 years ago, the Native American were wiped out by disease, and intertribal warfare WAY MORE than colonists, but even if I gave you that one it was still 2-300 years ago. 9/11 just had its 15 anniversary and there are still many people and families being affected by it today, unlike slavery and the Native American "genocide." (And this is coming from a Sioux) So I ask you, who needs to get over what again?
You people do realize that most of the slaves, like the vast vast majority, brought to the Americas were sold to European slavers by other African tribes right? African tribes and Empires would enslave and sell other African tribes who they conquered through war or those under their rule who they considered undesirable (like other ethnic groups, criminals, etc.) to European slavers who then took them across the Atlantic to their new destination. Like you realize this right?

Notice, the Barbary slave trade never comes up here. Or the fact that 1.8% of white people owned slaves versus 28% of free blacks. How about the fact that white slaves vastly outnumbered the black ones? Or that every skin color owned slaves at some point in history, including American history? Any questions?
I hate how black people act as if they sere the only victims of racism/slavery. When i bring up the fact that italians,jews and even the irish suffered discrimination for years i get called a racist trying to silence blacks.
They don’t want any competition in the Oppression Olympics.
Don’t forget the white slaves of Barbary. They were enslaved by the same people that enslaved blacks and then sold them.
