Well, there’s the fact that you’re trying to argue something with the term “all white people” as if I said the word “all.” Because God knows that you, a white person, can’t be racist because you, a white person, know how hard it must be for poc to endure the hardships they do. You can relate to them on no level, but you understand what they’re going through because you’ve seen posts about racism, and you read the news about racism even though the vast majority of media won’t actually talk about racism directly. You, a white person, can’t possibly be racist because you feel for poc. You were born in a place where poc weren’t widely accepted, but you know now that it’s wrong. Because racism is laced intricately into every social system so that it’s not immediately noticeable as racism. You, a white person, know that you’ve never had a racist thought. You know that if you ever did, you’ve learned now, and you won’t ever have a racist thought again. You know that the world is specifically catered to you, but that doesn’t mean you’re racist. You know that you don’t mind being on top, but that doesn’t mean you’re racist. The fact that I didn’t even tag anything on this post, and you still went out of your way searching for key words probably “poc” or “white people” tells me that you’re a social justice warrior just like anyone else on this site. You’ll give up your position of power to help poc because you know that’s the non-racist thing to do. You’ll even use your power for good by arguing with a white person over the Internet about how #notallwhitepeople are racist. You, a white person, defending white people when it comes to racism, which you have no say in because you’re white. And you know what? You were probably looking for a fight on the Internet, trying to explain to someone how you’re not racist and you’re white, thinking that that matters. I’m white, and I realize I have no say when it comes to racism, because I don’t face it every day like poc. I’m white, and I don’t know what it’s like to be on a lower social level just because of my skin color. I’m white, and I don’t know what it’s like to walk past people with lighter skin and have them eyeing me cautiously, holding their bags to their chests and avoiding eye contact. I’m white, and I don’t know what it’s like to have people of my skin color being singled out to systematically killed and then be excluded from media sources. You’re white, and you automatically think #notallwhitepeople. But you’re wrong, because all white people are still systematically accepted as superiors, whether non-racist white people like you like it or not. You’re wrong, because #yesallpoc are being discriminated against, and it may not be by you, because you’re a white angel, but enough people that it still makes a difference.

@ummquestion s a disabled biologically female Sioux Indian, I cannot tell you how insulting it is that people like @michealssunflower try to speak for me. Even though I know they are well-intentioned, I can’t help but feel insulted by this. I happen to be very proud of my Heritage, and the fact that I’ve lived through so much and I’m doing quite fine. I honestly hate the fact that I am used as a prop by people like this who don’t really care about me Beyond the fact that I can possibly being used to bolster the narrative. I appreciate the fact that somebody else is still rational enough to see this. I was rather frustrated the other day because somebody who didn’t like my opinion automatically assumed that I was probably a white able-bodied male. I am clearly not. And there’s something else I would like to say too. @michealssunflower. The government and the country at large is trying very hard to repair the wrongs that have been done to people of color (I hate this term) and it is getting to the point where the problem is becoming over corrected and is actually beginning to racially discriminate and disadvantaged white people. However, even if it was true that the government was racist against POC, that doesn’t give you the right to hate the average poor white plebeian. There are many white people who are not in any better of a position than you, some are even in a worse position than you. You can’t hate an entire group of people for something a very small minority is doing. And guess what? Every single group of people deals with racism by individuals, and and whites are usually laughed at when they claim that somebody was racist toward them! This is not right! This is not equality! Also, I know that the Native American Community is hurting in a few ways, but this isn’t helping. If you really want to help us, you have to draw attention to our issues, maybe go and be active in the community. But please, stop using people like me as a shield to deflect away any criticism. I don’t like to have to State my race, gender, disabilities, and other arbitrary characteristics when I’m trying to have a discussion with you guys. Unfortunately though, that’s the only way to get you to listen. I know you don’t like what I’m saying, but at least think about it.

I’m sorry if I said anything that would imply that I think lowly of Native Americans. I don’t, and I can’t say that I know what it’s like to be a Native American. I know that there are Native Americans that are thriving and successful, but there are also some that are still being oppressed, and I’m only trying to come through for them. I don’t hate white people, I just think that the stereotypical white person is not something to be proud of. When someone thinks of a white person, maybe that someone not being you, they think of a racist with a superiority complex. There are plenty of white people that live up to that stereotype, and I’m not saying all white people, but it’s enough white people that it’s causing harm.

I understand, I understand that you're just trying to help and that's why I made it very clear that I understand that you are just well-intentioned. I tend to try to handle these discourses a little bit differently unless you treat me badly. So I'll tell you this, there are plenty of people of all Races that lives up to what you call the " stereotypical white person" personality type. This is why it's best not to judge on skin color. I personally am not in a great situation right now, but I know I can get myself out of it and make things better if I work really hard at it. I think if you look at the social justice definition of Oppression, and has way more to do with socio-economics than race as there are both plebeians (like myself) and rich people of all Races. I would just implore you and any other social justice Advocate that is reading this right now to try to look past people's looks and sexual orientation end look at their character. Look at their life experiences, and then you'll find that everyone's life experiences vary quite significantly. It's not fair to make assumptions about people. It's also not fair to make them feel like they can't be successful, even if they try. Nor is it fair to make somebody feel like their problems are insignificant or that they are a bad person for being born into a certain group. That's what the social justice definition of Oppression does, it gives people a sense of pessimism about what their potential to accomplish things is and makes them angry people who don't really deserve it, and it makes those people hate themselves and that's not right! Then we have even more division than we started with. You and I are people that have at least some level of a following on the web, so we have to be very careful with how we present our ideas and what our ideas are, so even if you didn't mean anything against white people and you were just being well- intentions toward people of other races ( and I think you were) it didn't seem that way. That, and the way that you guys seem to heat people that you deem to be the majority is doing nothing more than shutting down discourse. So I just really wanted you to know my feelings on the subject.
