I hate it when shoplifters use trans and poor people to justify shoplifting because 99% of the time they are literally neither.
Trans people don’t need 90$ foundation and thousands of dollars worth of high-end makeup in order to pass. They don’t even need makeup at all, and if they do want to wear makeup, there is a bunch of makeup you can get for like 5 bucks a pop. Trans people need support and shelter when they’re getting kicked out of their homes. Not being used by some kid who thinks stealing 2k dollars worth of makeup will make a trans person’s life better.
Poor people don’t need thousands of dollars worth of high-end clothing and technology. Walmart brand clothing will do just fine and having a stolen iPhone won’t put food on the table. Also, forget about trying to pawn it because if they do find out it’s stolen guess whose going to jail? Aw shit it’s you going to jail and now having to pay bond because you can’t just steal someone out of a prison cell. Poor people need asstiance, not some kid who thinks stealing thousands of dollars worth of designer cloths will make their lives better.

Yo @tygerofaera, if @coolmanfromthepast is ableist, why is he friends with me? I have several disabilities, none of which are used to excuse any asshole behavior on my part. (Believe it or not, I can be a bit of an angry asshole at times!) Despite what you may think, people with physical and mental illnesses/disabilities are, for the most part, able to take responsibility for what they do. I speak as one such person. Calling everyone you don’t like ableist is, not only insulting to people like me, who deal with discrimination and ignorance and regularly and try to move on with ourselves; but it also makes it much harder for us to get discrimination claims and other claims taken seriously! I can’t tell you how much extra shit I’ve had to deal within my life because people with your mindset make us all look like snowflakes? I’m not even just talking about with my disabilities, those things never got taken seriously . Anyway, moving on. I could go on forever about this. I severely pisses me off...
