Here's some more sketches of Professor Blackheart. Thought I'd try an anime style wild take for him. Currently, Blackheart doesn't know that Randy exists, but eventually they'll know each other pretty well.
More Randy! Plus the high-ranking henchman Count, a comical pseudo-vampire with supernatural creatures at his command.
Randy the rat, star of still-in-conceptual-stage cartoon series The Adventures of an Evil Minion.
Randy works for the evil Professor Blackheart, and he doesn’t like it. In fact, it outright scares him silly, ‘cause he’s a big softie. So what does he do? He spoils the plans of his evil boss… in secret.
Al sees a pretty lady
This is pretty much quintessential Al. Over-the-top Tex Avery-esque madness paired with cool confidence (obscuring an underlying tension and insecurity).
Here's some wacky shenigans that Al gets up to while being pursued by the police.
I think PBS Kids’ Nature Cat is very underrated. It’s not exactly a masterpiece or anything, but it’s one of the very few modern cartoons that carry on the tradition of the slapstick-and-one-liner kind of humor inspired by Looney Tunes and such. I’m pretty sure it’s Flash animated (if not Toon Boom), but it’s far above average, using old school techniques like squash-and-stretch, smears, and multiples despite it’s low-budget limitations.
The characters are cute and funny, and it somehow makes it’s educational format fit into slapstick and learning about nature entertaining. It helps that I’ve always loved animals. And the songs are catchy too (it amuses me that punk rock iconography like spiked collars and mohawks are now acceptable in a Y-rated cartoon).
A bonus is that almost the entire main cast is made up of SNL cast members. (I don’t actually watch SNL all that much except for the political sketches, but it’s gotta count for something, right?) Kenan Thompson, a ‘90s-kid favorite no doubt, unfortunately left after the first season, but it’s still pretty cool that he was involved.
Goofy and Sylvia from An Extremely Goofy Movie
Lemme tell ya, there are few canonical ships as underrated and underutilized than these two. (Cranky rant follows)
Have I ever mentioned how much I love old school comedy and old-timey jazz?
Ever since we got digital cable (roughly the year 2000) I’ve enjoyed watching black-and-white comedy movies on Turner Classic Movies by the likes of the Marx Bros., Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton, Abbott and Costello, and Laurel and Hardy.
I also love how this song modulates to a weird key in the middle.
Here's some more of Al, mostly going out on the town. The police file description should give you an idea of what sort of chaos he causes.
Alastair Ferret, one of the major characters in The Adventures of an Evil Minion, isn’t affiliated with Prof. Blackheart, nor does he fight for good, but he is something of a villain. He is friends with Randy, actually, but only in his normal form.
Alastair normally is a short, cowardly guy who is even MORE timid than Randy, mainly due to the emotional abuse from his mean stepmother (yes, his mean stepmother). But the one day, Alastair discovers a flashy, brightly-colored ’40s-style suit buried amongst the other old clothes in a thrift store and buys it without knowing why. During the night, the suit transforms him into the person he wants to be: tall, fit, slick, charming, cool, and uninhibited. He does what anybody in this situation would do: explore the city night life and indulge in some debauchery to paint the town red. He finds he can get women to do what he wants, and can make everyone laugh at his jokes.
The suit also grants him the power to use toon physics to his every advantage, similarly to The Mask, Screwy Squirrel, Slappy Squirrel, Judge Doom (aka Baron von Rotten), The Dodo Bird from the Looney Tunes short Porky in Wackyland, and Wacky Weasel from Bonkers. The only downside to all of this is he also develops an extremely short temper and an easily-bruised ego. So when things don’t go his way and people are laughing at him instead of with him, he turns into the monster seen on the right and becomes violent, causing destruction and mayhem.
It is this form that gives him the moniker “The Toon Terror”, but no one knows who he really is, because he returns to his normal state by sunrise with only a hazy memory of what he did during the night.
A thing we did ages ago on Windows Movie Maker...

If Stuntmen from the old movies don’t have your full respect then I just don’t know what to say to you
"Stuntmen"? This all Buster Keaton. He did all his own stunts.
