I like to think that Jack Skellington never actually finished reading A Christmas Carol. Otherwise he would've understood what Christmas was all about much better, I think- that story's like a textbook for the Christmas spirit.
Or maybe he was too distracted by the ghost stuff.

I've only seen a small handful of Baby Huey cartoons (mainly the two public domain ones), but I've enjoyed every one of 'em so far. Our uncle (one our mom's side) likes 'em too, so we gave him this- he was out of town during Christmas that year, so it's a bit late.

Merry Christmas from Retro Mario Mario and old school cartoons... it's as simple as that. I sometimes like to draw Mario characters in a style inspired by the DiC cartoons and Hotel Mario. It basically takes the look of those cartoons and makes them even more '40s style. So I'm kind of pretending that Nintendo was an animation studio from the 1940s. It was interesting adapting Wario and Waluigi to the style (my first attempt here). I referred to the "Obey Wario" commercial and Brawl in the Family for inspiration. For one thing, they've never had irises before, so I had to pick their color. From 2011.
After seeing My Little Pony: Best Gift Ever, I was pretty surprised to see reindeer. For a minute I thought, "Crud, now my character can't fit into the canon anymore", but then I realized that the episode never explicitly says that the new characters give out gifts, just that they know a lot about them. So I kinda imagined Cloven here was just offstage working his magic. So here he is, updated to fit with the designs of the new reindeer, and in vector too. from 2018

Made a pretty good attempt at '60s-style lettering here, mostly inspired by the work of Paul Coker Jr. (character designer for Rankin-Bass, and Mad Magazine artist). I would imagine that every year Mortimer gives out autographed photos of himself, and this is what they typically look like.

I realized many years ago that adorable mice seem to to be associated with Christmas for some reason. I blame Clement Moore (or whoever it was that wrote the poem). Of course, then I had to contrast it with a rat. Nowadays I'd much rather pick Krampus instead of Black Peter as an anti-giftgiver. From 2010.
