Since it's Friday the 13th, here's a black cat (and her sister)
It's ironic that a black cat would be scared of pumpkins.
I wrote a progressive rock song, based on three formerly Pokémon-inspired songs I wrote in a row in 2004. It’s mostly inspired by Yes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TQXLc7N6oNw https://www.amazon.com/Stick-Together/dp/B08WXCWKL9

Rule 1: Always post the rules Rule 2: Answer the questions the person who tagged you asked and write 10 new ones 3: tag 10 new people + link them to this post. Rule 4: Let them know you’ve tagged them. 1. If you were a character in a fighting game, what would your weapon be? Probably a double-edged sword of some European type. 2. Talk about your pet(s)! (Or what pet you would like to have) Koroma is our calico cat, possibly of Maine Coon ancestry. She was only seven or so months old when we got her, and also malnourished at the time, which I suspect stunted her growth. To this day, she only weighs about ten pounds, and has oddly positioned hind legs. Luckily, she's still very athletic, and runs around outside half the day. For some odd reason, she only eats dry food. I suspect that when her stray mother first introduced her to solid food, she only ever ate dry food, and got used to it. 3. Congratulations! You’ve just won the vacation of your dreams! Where are you going? Most of Europe. 4. What is the strangest thing you’ve ever eaten? This so-called "Hawthorne Berry juice" from an Asian market. It tasted fermented, and was extremely gross. On the more appetizing side, I've eaten cuttlefish tentacles, which I first tried as a free sample at a Korean market. I thought they were noodles at first. They taste great! 5. If a genie gave you three wishes, what would you wish for? (Can’t wish for more wishes) One: To become a respected animation director, with all the skills and experience necessary. Two: To become much healthier than I am now. Three: To fall in love with the woman of my dreams, and marry her. (You didn't say I couldn't wish for true love!) 6. Describe your soul mate? Incredibly smart, creative, kind, loving, gentle, shares all my interests, patient, and heart rate-accelarating. 7. Top five favorite cartoon characters? Mickey Mouse, Roger Rabbit, Bugs Bunny, Bonkers D. Bobcat, Mrs. Brisby 8. If you were to star in a TV series, what genre would it be? Old school action-adventure, á la Darkwing Duck or Indiana Jones, where science-fiction and fantasy meet. Preferably animated. 9. What superpower would you most want to have? Super-strength and transformation powers. 10. Shazam! You got bit by a radioactive gamma ray and you now have the above superpower! What’s the first thing you do? Take down the drug dealers in our neighborhood. And I tag... this piece of wood!

"OH MY GAWW IT'S BEEEEAAAUUUUTIFULLLLCHRIIIIISTMAAAASSS"
I'm a cat person.
I honestly find dogs more confusing and incomprehensible than cats could ever be. With dogs you have to be constantly playing these crazy mind games, or else they'll screw with you and your house. The whole power struggle, with all the bossing around, dominating, and disciplining you have to do... It's just no fun! I hate dominating another creature- it's just not in my nature! You can't make eye contact with dogs, or else you intimidate them. That makes me self-conscious. I've never wanted to be the "dominant male" in any situation. I prefer to treat everybody as my equal, and if I don't earn their respect when we first meet, they're a waste of my time. With cats, all you have to do is pet them, feed them, play with them, occasionally shoo them away from something they're damaging, and they love you. I can be completely relaxed and wholly true to myself around cats... They're never buttering you up or vying for your approval. I don't have maintain their emotional and mental state- they can just run around outside (if they're outdoor cats), and entertain themselves on their own. Most cats are low management, from my experience. Also, I've never met a cat who didn't like being scratched under the chin.
Cats don't move much.
