okay, so tumblr stopped holding my account hostage, but you know what? i like using @saphyrenights so much better. it feels almost like a fresh start, even though i'm following all the same folks i followed over here and am posting/sharing the same content

it drives me insane that so much discourse on here is like. someone says “wow, it’s alarming that american college culture makes it seem like partying is compulsory,” and then someone else responds “agreed OP, and I actually think that anyone who has ever partied in their life is a worthless loser sack of shit” (which is not at all what the first person said), which then prompts someone else to overcorrect for the second person’s bad opinion by saying “actually if you don’t smoke weed constantly you’re a prude and a reactionary” and it’s like. really guys.
