Magick has been a part of my life since I was a small child.
My husband - back when he was just my boyfriend and then fiance - had supported me opening up about it. He supported me learning. He supported me trying spells. He would even find things at various stores that could act as tools or something that would be useful.
Now, my husband has started his own crystal and tool collection, understanding to allow the tools to call to him; to choose him if you will.
He has openly started to cast spells with me. He has asked me to help him cast them. Together, we have done a few spells. The spells we have done together - especially recently - have been some of the strongest I have been a part of.
We - very - recently had to put one of our beloved cats to sleep. Until her ashes are returned to us, we will be lighting candles and performing rituals to help protect her as she travels between worlds.
It brings us great comfort to know she is still with us spiritually. It brings me great comfort that I can still provide some form of protection to her...
This post got away from me a bit...sorry...
Witch Tip No. 28
Just like certain colors can go along with your spell intentions so can scents. So instead of always buying unscented candles consider a candle with a scent that corresponds with your intention.

I’d like to put my 2 cents in about tarot readings. It’s like a weather forecast. What may be true now will likely be subject to change later. For an example: a reading about your love life today will be drastically different than, let’s say, two years ago. Even if you’re in the same situation more or less. The future is in your hands. You are in charge of your destiny.
this!!! this is very true!! i feel like people also have a tendency to take tarot readings as 100% fact and not a method of divination to give advice/guidance.

Simple Moon Spell - One Dozen Wishes
Intent: To create a jar of potential wishes, to be used as needed.
Materials:
- Small Jar
- Whole Bay Leaves (12)
- Moonlight
In addition to their usefulness in spells for protection, wisdom, and healing, bay leaves are a potent ingredient for wishmaking. This spell does not specifically create a wishing spell, but it prepares a small supply of leaves for future spellwork, using the fulfilling energy of the full moon to pre-charge the component.
Obtain a bag of whole bay leaves. These can usually be found in the spices and seasonings aisle at the grocery store, or you can order them from a botanical supplier if you wish. Prepare a clean, dry jar with a lid as you see fit. Select twelve leaves, as whole and unbroken as possible, and place them into the jar. Cap the jar and leave it to soak up the moonlight on the next full moon evening.
When you have need of some wishmaking magic, take a single leaf from the jar, write your wish upon it, and use it in your spell. The use of the leaf depends on your casting method - you can include it in a jar or sachet charm, cast it into fire or water, or bury it to help your desired results grow, to name just a few.
Use the leaves as needed and when the supply is exhausted, you can pick twelve new leaves and refill the jar.
Happy Witching! 🔮🍃

This is a casual reminder to all of the witches, pagans, occultists, polytheists, and woo-woo folks, don’t be afraid to try things! Sometimes you won’t know the outcomes of things until you’ve tried them. You can research and read and prep as much as want, but you still might not know if you can do something until you try to do it. No one else can tell you. You can’t guarantee success.
Sometimes you just have to give it a go.
“Who knows why we were taught to fear the witches and not those who burned them. Or those who stood by, watching.”
