I mean yes Twilight was terrible but there’s no denying that the whole moody, angst-ridden, supernaturally-charged, melodramatic YA romance-drama period of the early to mid 00s was a fucking look. Hit me with those tortured, complicated heroines in their grunge revival boots, clutching notebooks full of poetry about how no one understands them in this new town. Fuck me up with the pretentious sadboy vampires/aliens/werewolves/ghosts/bowls of clam chowder with swoop fringe haircuts who love them. Make it all gay for the millenials in an ironic revival a few years from now and I’m there.

Medication is often stigmatized and that really bothers me. I’ve taken meds on and off for years to supplement my focus and combat my anxiety. I’ve adapted because of prescriptions. None of us are weak for this, we’re simply helping our brains get the chemicals they need to function better.
