Me, trying to get my mods to work with Fallout 4 even though they never do so I inevitably go back to my stable Skyrim game after hours of research and resets
How lucky to be Cloud, eh?
very lucky.
hello witches! to begin, i made this post with those currently stuck indoors because of COVID-19 in mind, but the games are for any witch or anyone looking for some relaxing, not terribly difficult, nature-related games to play under 20 USD either on Steam or on the Nintendo Switch 🌿🌱
Equilinox is a game that has you making different biomes to support plant and animal life. the game hlis very pretty to look at with plenty of screenshot moments and has an overall calming nature, and the little "quests" that pop up while playing make it easy to follow and learn how the game works. it’s lovely seeing how different biomes and nature impact one another as well! the game is well-priced at 10 USD on Steam.
Plant Tycoon was a personal favorite of mine when i was little. it’s less of a game that you play, and more of a simulator. you grow and breed different plants and sell them in a shop. there’s a wide variety of plants to discover, and you care for them by watering them, spraying for bugs, trimming them, etc. (you can even catch bugs as collectibles and decorate your shop!). the game runs in real-time and is tied to your computer’s clock, meaning the plants grow as real-time passes. it’s nice to go back and check on how they’re doing and see how they’ve grown, especially if you can’t keep plants of your own! it’s on Steam for 9.99 USD.
how can i make this list and not include Stardew Valley? this game is amazing! it has everything for everyone. want to just be a farmer and plant plants and sell them? you can do that. want to turn those crops of yours into goods such as wines, jams, bread, etc.? you can do that. want to just be a rancher/fisher/dungeon-diver? you can do that! plus, it has lovable characters, some of which you can wed, regardless of your gender! furthermore, it can be played single player or multiplayer, so if you have friends on steam or the switch they can join you and live on your farm! it’s available both for the Switch and Steam at 15 USD.
Cattails is a game that is like Stardew Valley but with cats. You’re a cat, and you choose to join one of the pre-existing groups. there’s quests, hunting, fighting (if you want), and marriage (with kittens!). It’s a fun little game that i’d reccomend for a chill time playing as a cat, or if you ever read the warrior cat books and were a fan of them. Cattails is both on Steam (14.99 USD) and the Nintendo Switch, (14.99 USD but currently on sale for 7.49 USD)
admittedly, this is the most difficult game on this list, but i had to include it at the end! Okami is the definition of beautiful, as the main combat of the game is brush strokes and painting certain symbols to cast attacks. you play as the Japanese Sun Goddess Amaterasu, who inhabits the form of the legendary white wolf Shiranui. this game has stunning artwork and nature-related themes, and younger me always loved how flowers grew with every step you took as you brought life back to the barren lands. the game is on Steam and the Switch for 19.99 USD.
again, these are some games that i quite enjoy and could see others currently in isolation enjoying, too. i’m sure i haven't played certain games that should be on this list or accidentally left some out, so feel free to leave comments of what games you'd recommend to be on this list! as always, stay safe during these difficult times 💚
I started a new farm in Stardew Valley, this house looks so cute and cozy
