I know we don’t post much here much anymore, but to let The Americans end without a little something seems wrong. The series was amazing on all fronts - the acting, the storylines, the costumes, and I mean the music was ALWAYS on point. While I slip on my fake mustache, blue baseball cap, granny glasses, and cry on the train take a moment to reflect on what Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys had to say upon reading the series final.

RUSSELL: We were shooting north of the city and I had this big, four-hour chunk of downtime before my night work. I was a little behind on my reading, and so I took scripts 8, 9 and 10, and went to this fancy restaurant. I sat at the bar with a giant glass of red wine, and just sat and read them. I cried and tried to shield my eyes from the people in the restaurant so no one would know I was crying. At first, I was so surprised. And it’s devastating. It’s sort of the worst punishment of all. But at the same time, I loved the ending.

RHYS I was on a train to Washington, D.C., reading it and crying, trying not to let people see what was happening. I agree — I thought it was just a fitting end. It was going to come at a cost, but you don’t quite realize the extent of that cost.

Highway to the lady zone, what what!

Happy Endings vet Casey Wilson has been tapped to play the co-lead opposite Cougar Town‘s Busy Philipps in NBC’s Tina Fey-produced comedy The Sackett Sisters, TVLine has learned.
The single-camera project — penned by Fey’s onetime 30 Rock charge Luke Del Tredici — centers on two polar-opposite estranged sisters, Wilson’s Sutton and Philipps’ Mandy, who perform an act of public heroism and are forced to navigate the aftermath together. (via)

This July, TV Hangover will celebrate — and mourn — one of the best one-season shows to ever grace television: Bunheads. Sure, Amy Sherman-Palladino is best known for Gilmore Girls but this little ABC Family gem won our hearts in 2012 and we're still not over it. Come join us as we watch episodes, play drinking games, host trivia, and maybe do some ballet if we get drunk enough.  July 29 at 9:30 PM Videology Bar & Cinema 308 Bedford Ave Brooklyn, New York 11249

Tickets are only $5! Make sure to get yours in advance since tickets are limited.  http://videologybarandcinema.com/events/bunheads/

Good morning! We’ve been too drunk off wine in a can to post this earlier so here is your last-minute invite to TV Hangover’s next party!

On Friday, we’re going to temporarily turn the screening room at Videology into our own little Paddy’s Pub as we spend a night celebrating our favorite group of TV jerks: the gang from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Come join us as we watch a handful of our favorite episodes, play drinking games, and host a few rounds of trivia where you can win prizes.
